Nestled in beautiful countryside with stunning views across Wensleydale towards Penhill, it is a perfect retreat for two people. A short stroll away is the village of Wensley, built by Lord Bolton to serve the estate, which also includes nearby Castle Bolton and Bolton Hall. Wensley has an excellent pub, a beautiful church, and should it be needed, a good bus link to the market town of Leyburn, less than 2 miles away. The barn was converted in 2011 and provides compact single level accommodation. The living area is open plan, with a wood burner, lovely slate floors, wooden beams and French doors opening out onto the terrace taking in the stunning views. Just off the living area is a kitchen with dining table. The south facing bedroom has a comfortable double bed with access from one side only.
