The apartment was really spacious and a home from home. We were with our young daughter who loved all the toys. The bedrooms were spacious and really comfy.

Regent House is located in the centre of the historic market town of Thirsk. The two bedroom apartment is self contained and has all the comforts you require while on your break away from home. The apartment features two double bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with range of appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave, and a modern bathroom fitted with a bath and separate shower. There is a secure intercom system in the property and a secure private entrance to the let. New for January 2023: improved super-fast wifi and smart TV which is Netflix/Amazon Prime enabled. The property is located in the heart of the market square in Thirsk, however we are able to offer free off-street parking just a short 2 minute walk from the apartment.
We are a family run business and appreciate what travellers could want with their stay.
Thirsk is a small market town that hosts museums, a market and a race course that are all just a short walk away, as well as being part of the Tour De Yorkshire cycle route. The town also hosts a range of beautiful cafés, restaurants and bars. The award winning Thirsk and Northallerton Golf club is less than 2 miles away, and Lightwater Valley Park 16 mile away. The beautiful city of York lies 23 miles to the south, and there you can walk down the cobbled streets of the shambles and walk around the Roman walls of this historic city. As well as York you will find Wetherby, Harrogate and Ripon all within driving distance. These towns host a race courses, superb shopping, spas, cathedrals, and are all draped in local history from days gone by. With lots of English Heritage and National Trust sites close by, whether you are looking for a city themed break or a countryside break, Thirsk is certainly a place to offer you everything you need to keep you busy.
