Loved the separate sleeping unit, very spacious, beautifully presented, lots of warm blankets Host was very helpful and check in easy, even gave us a head torch for visiting loo during the night Pod very well equipped Lots of space for dogs / kids to run around, very private and secluded Had a hot tub too. Watching sunset in total peace and quiet was very relaxing.

Renison's Farm sits quietly up a track in the beautiful Eden Valley, a working farm with Cattle, chickens and pigs our accommodation is unique and quirky! Camp Brunhilda sleeps two, a converted wagon is your spacious bedroom with a very comfortable king size bed, paired up with a hut containing a basic kitchen with everything you'll need, hot & cold water, lights, and a usb charger. A shower and composting loo make this the perfect escape from the modern world! The wood fired hot tub is the perfect way to rest after a long day in the fells or on your bike. Camp Helga has two wagons, a large kitchen and a bathroom, each wagon has a king size bed so ideal for two couples or a family. The kitchen has a large table, hob, usb charger, ideal for hunkering down if it starts to rain, the bathroom has a shower, sink and composting loo. Please note this camp does not have a hot tub,
We have lived and farmed here since 2012, hosting guests is a lovely distraction from collecting eggs and moving cows! It allows us to have conversations with folk from all over the world, and really does add to our lives. I'm a keen runner (not a quick one though!) and the area is perfect for this, much quieter than the hustle of the Lake District so whether is walking, biking or running you can just enjoy the peace and the views. We are always very happy to chat farming and food too, both Reno and I are very keen on farming along side nature so if you're interest please just ask, we also have produce available to buy,
Renison's Farm is 30 minutes drive from Penrith, about 40 minutes from Ullswater and Pooley Bridge. The famous walking route of Blencathra is about 40 minutes away. We like to think that the Eden Valley is the perfect spot to visit as you can dip into the Lake District but then also dip out too! The Eden Valley is much quieter, a hidden gem, with lovely villages such as Armathwaite and Askham, great eating places such as the George & Dragon at Clifton. Walking, biking, fell running all literally on the doorstep!
