We visited Barnard Castle from US (Brooklyn NY) for a family wedding. We were not familiar with the area, but loved how the home is tucked away on a quiet street yet walking distance to center of town . Don't forget to look at the helpful binder and sit in the little garden. I really appreciated the treats on arrival as we had a very long train journey. The house is packed with charm and kept very clean. I only wish we could have stayed more than two nights.

    “We really liked the property and the way it had been refurbished. It was well situated, in walking distance from the town and right next to the Bowes Museum where we were able to walk the dogs round the grounds. so all in all very good”
