We stayed with Jay and the team for 4 days / 3 nights over Easter. From the moment we arrived they couldn’t have been more welcoming. Every one of the team were overly helpful and accommodating. Everything was clean and tidy, breakfast was divine, location was perfect and only a short 10 min walk from the village. Personal touch’s throughout such as torches for us to take out in the evenings, a help yourself honesty bar, they even made us a pack up for when we couldn’t make it to breakfast one morning as we were leaving too early that day to go up snowdon. We’re already talking about going back to wales and I really don’t think we would even bother looking elsewhere to stay as really couldn’t fault it! Thank you so so much to the Sygun Fawr team as what a stay we had !

We absolutely loved our stay here. The property is beautiful - the hotel is well kept and very comfortable. We enjoyed talking with the owner and learning more about the area. We could easily walk into town where we had one dinner and a lunch. We had dinner one night at Sygun Fawr and it was really tasty! Each breakfast was also awesome! We could also easily walk into the hills - it’s near hiking trails! The bed was comfortable and the wifi was really good for doing work and streaming. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

The property was absolutely stunning. Lots of original features and character of the original building. The information books in the rooms were fantastic. Loved reading about the history of the building and great information of places to visit including post codes to make destination easier to find. Kevin and his sister Jane were lovely, very welcoming and helpful.

The type of place you stay just to experience the property itself. A very quaint B&B with rich history, an amazing staff, and serene location. Option for dinner service is nice when you want to relax there for the evening.

I liked the location of the Sygun Fawr Country House. The quiet locale along with the wonderfully friendly staff as well as the proximity to the beautiful village of Beddgelert made for an amazing vacation.

Absolutely stunning location and the owners were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Also the bed was very comfortable and the linen top quality. Also loved the honesty bar, conservatory and sitting rooms. My husband was a bit disappointed in the Continental breakfast and the coffee was a little weak for our taste, but overall the breakfast was excellent, with bags of choice.

Very comfy room and fantastic food. We came here as a treat after our weekend camping in Snowdonia and couldn't have picked a better place, the calm, quiet atmosphere just a stones throw away from Beddelgert was perfect to relax and rest after many miles of hiking. Our hosts were very friendly and the dinner we enjoyed at the restaurant was simply fenomenal and well worth the money, not to mention the delicious breakfast the morning after. Highly recommend this as a comfy, quiet retreat in Snowdonia and look forward to returning in the future.
