The Nest is a cosy first floor apartment that sits within rural countryside. The property makes an ideal base for exploring this largely unspoilt part of the Highlands. There is an open plan living space with kitchen area. The bathroom has a bath and separate shower cubicle. There is a king size bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area. We are very close to Achnagairn Castle should you be attending a wedding and The Old North Inn pub/resturant is within walking distance.
Hi and welcome, I love to spend my time keeping fit by walking or cycling. I have two dogs and a small flock of sheep to keep me busy. We are around most of the time to answer any queries you may have, respecting your privacy at all times.
The Nest is situated in quiet countryside with lovely walks to suit all abilities. Close by is the picturesque Reelig Glen and The Great Glen Way, Driving the North Coast 500 Route (NC500)? We are in an ideal location for either starting or ending your journey. The apartment offers a convenient base for those visiting the area. Approximate distances from Inverness and Beauly, 6.5miles (10km). The apartment is in a rural location so a car may be the most convenient option. However, the local bus service is reasonably frequent and inexpensive, and there are regular train services from Inverness city to Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth etc. The bus and train stations are a 15 minute drive from Lentran, and you can also catch the bus to Inverness (usually the number 28). We recommend downloading the Stagecoach and Traveline Scotland app to help plan your journeys during your stay.
