It is stunning! The hotel, gardens were huge and beautiful. Rooms were spacious and all amenities there. It's very clean too. Receptionist and kitchen staffs were very sweet and helpful. The bathroom had an awkward smell, but we were immediately offered new room or them to fixed it.

Bel and The Dragon-Odiham, hotel in Heckfield

Located in Odiham, 18 km from Jane Austen's House Museum, Bel and The Dragon-Odiham provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

Easy to find on the Main Street in Odiham. Beautiful location. Friendly welcome when we arrived to check in. Little touches in the room like having Classic radio playing in the background when you open the room door. Highly accommodating for my feather allergy (I.e knew straight away - didn’t need reminding!). Amazing food! All in all made a work trip away a really relaxed experience.

Lovely big car park and nice looking property.

Lovely big car park and nice looking property. Decent sized room, but would have loved to see some colour, perhaps in cushions and a few pictures as it was a bit bland. Climb into the bath to shower with a shower curtain, never our favourite. All just a bit tired, with a strangely bumpy floor. However, the price was reasonable and we didn’t pay for luxury.

Very central for dinner at Heckfield Place if you don't want...

Very central for dinner at Heckfield Place if you don't want to pay a ludicrous amount to stay there! The New Inn is about a mile from Heckfield Place but the busy road means it is not recommended to walk. The beds would benefit from a 'Topper' as the mattress was a little uncomfortable. The price for the room was exceedingly low for all the amenities you would expect in a hotel room.

The location and staff all superb. The pub is lovely.

The location and staff all superb. The pub is lovely. The accommodation needs improving, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and actually made the stay painful, woke up with stiff neck and sore. The bathroom was clean but dated.

Friendly and attentive service, good quality fresh food hot food (nothing reheated in a microwave, tasty cooked to order hot breakfast, good parking ......all in all a very good stay and would return if in the area again. Take a drive to Hazeley Heath .....a lovely place to walk and cycle and great to take a drink and snack up to at sunset. Swinley Forest about 28 mins away with all it MTB cycling routes and plenty of other things to do in the area.

Pleasantly surprised by nicely renovated rooms. Although quite small, the first room we stayed in had a large American king size bed (UK king is American queen), comfortable layout and excellent shower. Immaculately clean and we slept well. Window opened to a lovely view of adjacent field. Hotel staff, particularly a woman from Canada whose name escapes me, are quite friendly and hospitable. We were going to the Reading town centre for dinner and she recommended an excellent resto.

Lovely old pub / hotel only spent one night but enjoyed the stay the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nice meal in the evening with plenty of choice, lovely laid back atmosphere. Chatting with a few of the locals who were lovely. We had a room at the back not much of a few but nice and quiet, think rooms at the front might have experienced bit of road noise . Breakfast was in with the price and delicious and plenty of choice . But would recommend

The hotel was in a good location; it was pretty, clean and olde-world in style whilst being run efficiently, but with cheerfulness and the right level of personal touch. The room was stylish and lovely; plenty of storage, seating, and spacious, with good views and was well earned with a radiator. The food - both breakfast and evening meal - were cooked well, served promptly, and tasted as good as one might hope for.

Lovely hotel, clean, comfy & well presented, reception staff very friendly & helped with our booking. Great to have electric car chargers on site. We also ate in the restaurant on first evening which was really good, a bit pricey but thoroughly enjoyed, highly recommend the wild child rose & the white chocolate & lemon cheesecake.

Lovely country hotel only 10 mins south of the M4. Our room in the main building was luxurious and fitted to a high spec. The bar / restaurant was welcoming and a large outdoor patio area added to the quality feel. Breakfast followed the same quality approach.
