Slide open the glass doors from the bedroom and living room to access the terrace of this spacious ground-floor annexe. It comes complete with its own entrance, and boasts a wood-panelled kitchen and en suite wet room with power shower. The Oaks is a bright and airy modernist home with double aspect windows and large glazed roof lights. It has a 70s vibe with Charles Eames dining chairs and furniture, kilim rugs and vintage fabrics.
The Oaks is annexed to our house, so we are available to answer any queries, give guidance on places to visit and dine and usually we will be available to show you the property in person.
Twyford Moors is an area of outstanding natural beauty in the South Downs National Park. The River Itchen, a famous chalk stream, is close by. This is also Jane Austen country—visit her home at Chawton, and Winchester Cathedral, where she's buried. There are beautiful riverside walks including a 2hr walk into the heart of Winchester along the water meadows and by St Catherine's Hill. There are country pubs and excellent restaurants available locally and 15 mins drive away in Winchester There is parking for one car under cover in the car port but also room in the drive for a second vehicle . There are some beautiful walks along the River Itchen nearby.
