Company info

Father and son duo - Guy and Jordan - took over The Plough Inn over 10 years ago, and have continued to grow it into the incredible, welcoming pub that it is today. Despite being originally built in 1772, we have worked tirelessly to give it a modern twist, whilst still keeping some of the original features in place, such as the wooden beams, thatched roof, and in winter, you’ll find our open fire roaring next to our cozy seating area. You'll often find Guy running the bar and welcoming in our guests, whilst Jordan, our Head Chef, is constantly curating delicious dishes, and brainstorming new ideas for our ever-changing blackboard menus. Building cabins have always been a dream for these two, and in 2023, their dream came true. Currently, we have just the two cabins, however, being the dreamers we are, we have plans to expand these in the future.

Property info

The cabins are situated at the back of The Plough Inn - far enough to not be disturbed by diners and drinkers, but close enough to take a gentle stroll back to. Our cabins have everything you need for a one night stay, to long break away. With comfortable double beds with Egyptian cotton sheets, a kitchenette, a bathroom with a double shower, plus a 43" smart television and free Wi-Fi, you'll not want your stay to end. In front of the cabins, we have added extra parking spaces for guests to use during their stay. There’s nothing worse than finally getting to your break away, only to have to carry heavy luggage miles away! Guests have access to a private garden, with lighting and seating available, making it the perfect place for relaxing days in the sun, to sharing a bottle of wine under the stars.

Neighborhood info

We may be biased, but we truly believe The Cotswolds is one of the most beautiful places in England! The west side of The Cotswolds is where you’ll find us - in a small, quiet, rural village called Finstock. Surrounding the cabins, you’ll find beautiful scenic walks, rivers and stunning views. It’s the perfect place to soak up tranquility, and give your soul the rest it needs. Outside of the village are nearby towns, where you’ll find plenty of shops and cafés. If you’re wanting to travel further afield, you can visit historical sights such as Blenheim Palace, Roman Villas, and plenty of museums. Finstock has a bus which stops in the village multiple times a day, 6 days a week. Furthermore, Chalbury Train Station is only 3.4 miles away, which can take you directly to London Paddington in just over an hour.
