Cute little terraced cottage with a private garden out the back. Lots of windows to let natural light in. Not too far form Inverness city centre - around a 15 minute walk along the riverside into town. I had to work remotely for a couple of days whilst we stayed here - made use of the garden for that, plus the large window ledge in the second bedroom. Kitchen well appointed; really appreciated the complimentary bottle of milk, biscuits and chocs that were left for us by the host. Also nice to have a smart TV that I could sign in to Netflix on to keep the kids entertained. Would definitely recommend a stay at The Smiddy!

We live 10 minutes from the apartment and are available to help with your holiday if needed. There is a key safe for your entry to the apartment, so that guests can arrive and depart at their convenience. Prior to your arrival we will send an email to you attaching the directions and check in details, including the code for the key safe so that you can access the apartment. We will provide a contact number for you to use during your stay should you require any assistance

The Smiddy is a lovely place to stay in Inverness. Situated in a unique development in Redholm Stables. The Stables were once part of an active farm converted now to letting properties. It is composed of a sitting & kitchen area, bathroom (with shower), two bedrooms each with double beds - one standard size the other small size. Also available is a secluded courtyard garden to the rear of the property. On warm days guests can dine and soak up the sun in this tranquil setting. Free wifi and free allocated parking are available

Neighborhood info

The riverside area of Inverness is a great location for your stay. So close to the city centre, but also in a quiet secluded area. Eden Court Theatre is just a few minutes walk away and has regular shows and also has 2 cinema screens. There is a fantastic choice of great restuarants just along the river by the Ness Bridge. For the sports conscious - Inverness Leisure Centre and Bught Park are 4 minutes walk away. For a leisurely 9 minutes stroll, guests can walk to a hidden gem - Ness Islands, to experience a shall park composed of three interconnected islands in the Ness River, linked by bridges made of excellent worked iron. The tall tress are stunning and the views of the river are beautiful. Once can also witness at times the fishermen fishing along the banks. All this .... and minutes from the city centre. There are also many world famous gold courses nearby, fishing, hiking and nailing. There is also the world famous Loch Ness to visit. For any Outlander fans it is an absolute delight to visit the many sites near Inverness. Come and experiance our world famous Highland hospitality!
