Lovely little home away from home! Had everything we needed to be comfy. Nice to have a bottle of wine waiting for us, but considering there are no shops at all within the little village maybe some bread and milk essentials would have been a better choice. There is a supermarket about 10 minutes drive away, so not too inconvenient to get some essentials. Overall, we were very happy with the home. Thank you!

Carsington Lake, 2 miles, offers RYA sailing, canoeing, wind surfing and fishing, and there are extensive cycle paths around the lake and on the High Peak Trail nearby. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Ashbourne, Bakewell and Buxton are all within half an hour’s drive, while Alton Towers is just 15 miles. Pony trekking, 5 miles.
