The Swainson Suite at West View, is a unique suite of rooms with panoramic views across the rooftops of Windermere to the fells (mountains) beyond. You can expect a warm welcome to your own private, self-contained upper floor apartment. The property is a classic Victorian built home with many original features. The suite consists of spacious bedroom & bathroom with fantastic views, separate sitting room and kitchenette. A great place to explore the Lake District from. Train & bus station, local amenities and Lake Windermere, are all within short walking distances.
We have a wealth of experience, owning and operating a guest house in Ambleside and offer the same attention to detail and comfort in our large, family home. You will be our only guests when choosing to stay with us.
Windermere is the gateway to the Lake District, with local attractions, restaurants & Pubs. A five minute walk to the Train & Bus Station, means getting around the Lake District is very easy. A well stocked supermarket is also nearby.
