Clean, well equipped and comfortable. Quiet location but close to town centre. Wish the weather would have been better so we could have used the great outdoor space behind the property.

The Wild Daisy sleeps 5 (charges may apply depending on number of beds used) and forms part of a traditional stone built house which has been converted into two spacious dwellings. Accessed via a private entrance on the main street, this upstairs apartment comprises one double bedroom, one one king bedroom (king with wall mounted smart TV), kitchen with dishwasher, dining area for up to 4 people on the first floor landing adjacent to the kitchen and a large bathroom with separate walk in shower. On the top floor in the loft space is the living room which has amazing views over open countryside to Weets Hill which is only 5 minutes walk away. Also in here, you will find a smart TV, DVD, books, games, a dedicated work space, two sofas and a separate sofa bed (charges apply for use of sofa bed). Very rare for a property like this, is the use of a large South West facing garden and sun terrace (please request details before booking). Taking into consideration that you have to walk 30 seconds round to the back of the apartment to get into the garden, I have provided everything you could possibly need in there: built in BBQ on the sun terrace, a dining area and a fully equipped summerhouse with fridge, microwave, kettle, crockery, glasses, utensils, cooking equipment and a wine cooler! There is literally everything you need for outdoor living!
I live 2 minutes away from the apartment and am on hand to help should any issues arise; I'll be there if you need me but not hanging around and getting in your way! Having stayed in numerous self catering establishments myself, I know how much the little things matter so I always ensure the kitchen is fully stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, cornflakes and porridge so that you can grab a quick cuppa when you arrive and a light breakfast in the morning.
Things to do: Barnoldswick is located right at the base of Weets Hill. The Leeds Liverpool canal also runs through the town and there is a host of cafes and pubs along the tow path in both directions. Greenberfield Locks is a great place to stop for light refreshments as is the Anchor Inn at Salterforth and further along the towpath at Foulridge you have The Wharfe - great food all day and live music on an evening. Barnoldswick is also only 30 mins from The Yorkshire Dales, 40 mins from the Yorkshire Three Peaks, an hour from the Forest of Bowland and an hour and a half from the Lake District. In Barnoldswick town itself and the neighbouring villages we have numerous eateries serving gourmet pub grub, Italian, Indian and Chinese food. There are also some great bars with a friendly atmosphere and an unrivalled live music scene (for a small town). Skipton is also only 15mins away with it's Castle, narrow boat cruises and wide range of restaurants, bars, shops and market! If you have children, The Green Playhouse is only a walk away, or a short drive away we have The Pendle Sculpture Trail, Bolton Abbey, Hesketh Farm Park, Thornton Hall Farm and Billy Bobs Ice Cream Parlour!
