The beaches of Caerhays, Gorran Haven and Hemmick are easily reached, and the bustling fishing village of Mevagissey is close by. The narrow streets of Mevagissey are lined with local pubs, shops and cafés, which all seem to gravitate to the working harbour where you can take a boat out for fishing trips to catch your supper for the barbecue back at The Wool Shed. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are just a couple of minutes away and an essential part of a Cornish holiday, with its stunning jungle and beautiful woodland walks. There is also a great local farm shop for treats and provisions.
