    Nice, clean, warm and comfortable appartment. The instructions to get to the flat were clear and simple. Cosy mattresses and pillows. Polite hosts. Not far from old city, restaurantes and shops.

    It is an excellent location, 30 min strolling around to The Castle, Holyrood Parks Hills as a window view, an inn, pubs, and many cafes nearby. Bus station just 1 min from the door if you really do not like walking...

## The space The property exists over two floors, with the kitchen and dining room on the bottom floor, and bedrooms and bathroom located at upper level. The property is very accommodating for guests looking to self-cater during their stay, with an extendable dining table in the lounge, and a fully equipped kitchen, compete with all expected utensils. ## Guest access Guests will have access to the entire property during their stay. ## Guest interaction I won’t be available in person but I have a fantastic support team who can be contacted by phone or email! ## Other things to note Please note that although there are free parking spaces in the car park, it is first come first serve and can be pretty competitive

Neighbourhood information

## The neighborhood Known for being home to Edinburgh’s main university campus at George Square, Newington has a busy student culture and is littered with restaurants, cafes and bars. From Newington it is about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the city centre with the leafy residential area of the Grange to Newington’s West and Liberton and Gilmerton to the South. The building of South Bridge in 1788 connected once rural Newington to the city and still stands as a bustling connecting road today. The architecture is made up of Victorian tenement flats commonly seen throughout the rest of Edinburgh. Be sure to check out my guidebook for food and drink recommendations in the area! ## Getting around Most places are within walking distance of the property. Edinburgh Airport: From the airport take the Tram or Airlink bus to Princes street. From here the apartment is a quick taxi ride or you can take the number 5 bus. Train: The nearest railway station is Edinburgh Waverley. From the station take Lothian Bus number 5. Alternatively the apartment is a quick taxi ride away. Buses: Lothian Buses are the main bus operator in Edinburgh. They offer a great free app that provides route maps, fare information and live bus times. Its a great tool for getting around the city.
