Nothing. In the day we were booked to check in the Hotel cancelled on us. The email was sent about 10am & we were about to set out on a long drive to stay at the hotel chosen for its proximity to the airport. In communications about the cancellation 2 different reasons given: maintenance & hotel overbooked.

On booking a executive room for my partner and myself as a mini break for us both, hotel is a hidden gem food just amazing as were the staff, for a executive room it could have been a little larger in my personal opinion. Certainly will be back. The upgrade of champagne and rose petals Certainly surprised my partner not forgetting the lovely chocolates in the room. The fillet steak my partner had was the best she has ever tasted. As for myself the scallops were just out of the world congratulations to the chefs on duty. Front of house were a credit to the hotel very professional in every detail.

From our room there was a view of the three forth bridges, which was tremendous. Don't know if there are many with that view though. Food (evening meal) was pretty good and not extortionate but overall the hotel is overpriced for the location in April. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Staff were friendly and efficient. It was an airport stayover when others nearer were fully booked so bit expensive for that, particularly since parking at airport becomes an add on.
loved the location. the rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. the view of the Forth Bridge and the sea view was spectacular especially at night when lit up. the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, especially the restaurant staff. The food was very good and loved the fact you had an option of a small dessert, what a great idea.
The view of the forth bridges was amazing! Room was excellent and felt and smelled clean as soon as we opened the door. The size and quality of the room was beyond our expectations.
Very convenient for our trip. Spacious and contemporary room. Ease of getting to our room via elevator. View was exceptional of the forth bridge and forth of the forth. We dined at the hotels restaurant and it was delicious. I arrived by bicycle and they provided overnight storage for it.
