Super pub with excellent food, lovely garden and lovely host. Full English breakfast was superb.
Rooms very comfortable and clean in a separate building outside the pub. Although on road the rooms were quite well sound proofed. Can thoroughly recommend.

The apartment was exactly as described, very comfortable, clean and beautifully renovated to maintain its character. The location of the property was great, it was close to the local shops and cafes but the apartment itself was really quiet. Communication from host was also good (with clear directions and instructions on getting the keys) and it was easy to access the property when we arrived.
Coachroad Shepherds Huts, a property with a terrace, is set in Petworth, 27 km from Goodwood Racecourse, 28 km from Goodwood House, as well as 31 km from Goodwood Motor Circuit.

Lovely touches throughout incl. Firewood already prepared ready to light was very appreciated! Beautifully located under Oak trees, everything clean (being a cleaner myself I normally touch up certain bits but didn't feel the need to do so), everything kept minimal and tidy and very welcoming and nice colours and different places to sit down. We had a wonderful stay and can imagine to be back! Shame it seems no stay during winter is possible.
Situated in Midhurst and within 13 km of Goodwood Racecourse, Cowdray Lodge has a terrace, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property.

The best part for us was the staff, especially Melanie at breakfast and Kinga from housekeeping who were so friendly during our 3-week stay. They made our difficult situation so much better and are a credit to the Cowdray Estate
Beautiful location with wonderful views.. Very comfy bed with lovely crisp linen. Plenty of storage space.
Double aspect windows overlooking greenery; lovely thick curtains and blinds
Spacious bathroom with powerful shower, big fluffy towels and nice toiletries. Very clean.
Includes good choice at breakfast in the Golf Club.
Conveniently placed on the A272 in the middle of Sussex countryside, this historic 5-star country inn encapsulates a balance between modern sensibility and rustic charm.

Wonderful hotel. Fabulous breakfast and a delightful host who couldn't have done more to make my stay more comfortable
A very pretty market town in the heart of West Sussex.
A very pretty market town in the heart of West Sussex. Lots of upmarket places to eat and an exceptional deli. The town has easy access to Petworth House and Park, a beautiful National Trust property with stunning interiors and fabulous walks. There are many antique shops, interiors shops and some smart boutiques, and the excellent Newlands Gallery, which curates terrific exhibitions - really first class. The combination of country and tiny town (more of a large village, really) is enchanting. It's the perfect place for a weekend break.

Lovely village and countryside, so many lovely pubs and inns to choose from. We chose to stay at the Welldiggers Arms and The Old Station B & B. Great choices. Will go back and try the Badgers Inn and stay at The Halfway Bridge Shepherds Hut to drink more Silly Moo Cider...

Great place to visit, huge amount of artwork and statues although the lighting did make it difficult to appreciate the paintings to their full glory. The grounds had lots of areas to walk through and a day of sunshine made it more enjoyable

Excellent and faultless on all aspects.
Excellent and faultless on all aspects. A traditional B&B as I remember them from years ago. If you're hesitating whether to book Kilsham Farm don't, just do it, you won't be disappointed.

Loved walking through the grounds of Petworth House and we had a lovely walk through the town too on our way there and back. Plenty of antique shops and individually owned small businesses. Nice cafes too.

Good hosts, lovely shepherds hut wonderful views.basic washing facilities but adequate for the short stay. Ordered takeaway from Petworth and we agreed it was the best Indian food we have had. Local town is lovely antiques shops galore! Took trip to arundel which is close an also beautiful.
The room was absolutely perfect for what I needed, very near to Petworth, off the main road and away from traffic noise, in reach to walks and AONB. Has its own private garden terrace with table and chairs, courtyard to clean bicycle and shoes, and inside was complete with breakfast, coffee/tea, fruits, bread, cereals and I was also amazed at the fridge contents (juices, milk, yoghurt, water bottles). The ensuite bathroom is a delight. I was charmed by all the small details. I will definitely pack much less next time I come back !
The food was mediocre but the staff was lovely, they accommodated my dog for extra money but I had to bring my own dog bed. The room was nice but it seemed a little over priced. It stated that the rooms had patios which I wanted for my dog but only 2 or 3 rooms do and we didn’t get one although I should have confirmed by phone what I wanted so that was my fault. No great dog walks from there but close to Petworth which was nice.
We recently enjoyed a stay at The Cricketers’ Arms Inn at Duncton. Our accommodation was on the ground floor in a delightful stone converted barn, and the staff were most welcoming, so obliging and helpful. Breakfast in the traditional dining area was excellent and served to us by friendly staff. The location was very good for walks through fields which my husband thoroughly enjoyed. A most pleasant stay. Thankyou.
Beautiful 400yo cottage, wonderfully refurbished. Super comfy, spotlessly clean, really stylish. Every bedroom has an en suite. Great location right in the middle of Petworth, moments away from shops and places to eat, as well as Petworth House/Park. Private parking for one car right outside (quite tight but we made it in our family car). Our little dog was very comfortable too ☺️
This is an absolutely gorgeous flat, perfectly located in the centre of Petworth. Beds were comfortable, the bathroom is newly refurbished and the living area is generous and well equipped for a weekend away. Excellent communication from the host and some superb recommendations in the local area. We wouldn't hesitate to book again!
The breakfast was exceptional all produce of a high quality and cooked to perfection. As we stayed two nights we also chose to have two evening meals both of which were of a high standard. Lovely room in a renovated barn to the side of the pub. Staff could not do enough for you. There is a lovely garden area to the rear.
Great location - right in the centre of Petworth. Very comfortable beds, and sitting outside on the sofa's in the garden was a dream! Checking in/out was very easy and Liz was really helpful and quick at responding to any queries. I would love to stay here again.
Loved having breakfast by the Inglenook fireplace, so cosy and warm on a very cold time of year. The staff were pleasant and efficient. The room welcoming and cosy and had what we needed. In the centre of Petworth with everything on it's doorstep.
We were made very welcome and shown to the room in the farmhouse which was very comfortable with a generous and modern en-suite.
We drove to Petworth for an evening meal.
The bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast really excellent.
The location was wonderful, the staff extremely friendly and considerate and the bar area and outside terrace were homely and extremely well decorated! The room was pristinely clean too! The wine was very good and the food better!
Great location, lovely staff. Interior of the carriages was nice. Bed was very comfortable. Nice and close to the town of petworth for having a nice day out. Would recommend a trip to Petworth House and the surrounding woodland.
very central location and with a big car park right at the rear of the property. Short level walk to everything in Petworth including the lovely Petworth House. Lots of good restaurants and interesting little shops.
We liked that it was proper 'old school' B n B, where you stay in the host family's house, and not an Airbnb or so-called boutique hotel. Liz and Phil were great hosts despite still doing the day job as farmers!
Lovely decorated rooms with beautiful location. Shower gel and hand soap was lovely, better than most hotel offerings. Pillows and bed were high quality as was the furniture in the rooms.
Fantastic room in a beautiful old building. Very close to Petworth and Pertworh house. Quiet countryside location. Breakfast very tasty and great fresh coffee. Would stay again
worked out perfect for us as we had a wedding nearby at the Upwaltham Barns all other rooms were way back in Chichester!!
Converted barn/ granary into 2 comfortable rooms
