The lodge was very comfortable and it was unusual to have two double beds as normally you have 1 double and 1 twin which is never ideal for two couples so that was excellent.

Nestled in woodland on the edge of Auchterarder, Willow Lodge offers luxury accommodation in the heart of Perthshire. With a wonderful relaxed feel the living area is large and spacious, with 2 comfortable seating areas, dining area and fully fitted kitchen. Floor to ceiling glazing on 2 sides fill the space with natural light. A hall leads to 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one being en-suite. There is plenty storage throughout and the lodge is complete with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven and Nespresso coffee machine. For outdoor relaxing and entertaining the terrace is accessible from the living area. A small mature garden wraps around one side of the lodge, often enjoyed by the odd pheasant or red squirrel! Private parking is provided for 2 vehicles. Perfectly situated for sightseeing and a wide range of outdoor pursuits, for golf enthusiasts the world famous Gleneagles Hotel and Golf Resort is only 3 miles from the lodge. For day trips Scotland's cities are easily accessed by car or train. The capital Edinburgh, and Glasgow can be reached within an hour drive, Perth and Stirling less than 30 mins.
