Woodcutters Barn is a beautifully finished hidden little gem, tucked away in a small village, 1 mile from the historic town of Ledbury. Take in the spectacular views from every window and enjoy relaxing on the sunny terrace, overlooking cider apple orchards, the Frith Wood, Ledbury and May Hill. Enter through French double doors to a fully fitted kitchen, including dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, hob, oven, toaster, kettle, equipped with everything you need for an amazing self catering holiday, yet near many quality restaurants and pubs if you don’t fancy cooking. Off the kitchen is the dining area including an extending dining room table with chairs and lounge area with an extremely comfortable large settee and armchair. Step up through to a relaxing bedroom with king size bed, wardrobe, containing ironing board and iron, chest of drawers, dressing table, hairdryer. Step up through to the luxurious en-suite bathroom with underfloor heating, large walk in shower , large vanity unit and oak doors containing washing machine. Outside there is a large patio with many seating areas to take advantage of the amazing views and your own private large parking area.
I live with my husband, Derek in the adjacent property, knock on the door if you need anything. We are generally available or you can message or email me. Always happy to advice on local walks, sightseeing and information or happy to leave you to enjoy your stay in peace.
Woodcutters Barn is located in a small village, 1 mile from the historic town of Ledbury with its pretty black and white Tudor buildings, independent shops, cafe’s and restaurants in the beautiful county of Herefordshire, overlooking cider apple orchards, the Frith Wood, Ledbury and May Hill. Ideally centrally located in the three counties of Hereford, Worcester and Gloucester, all cathedral cities and Cheltenham, known for horse racing. A visit to the beautiful Malvern Hills, location of The Three Counties Show with its many events, Morgan car company and theatre are a must. Further afield, enjoy a visit to Eastnor Castle, a river trip or canoe on the river Wye, Symonds Yat, Ross on Wye, Hay on Wye, Upton upon Severn, Forest of Dean, puzzlewood, clearwell caves, not forgetting the Cotswolds, are all within easy reach. Why not leave the car behind and walk the many local footpaths from our doorstep. It takes just half an hour to walk to Ledbury, or wander down the track to our local pub, The Farmers Arms. There’s so much to do and see in the area, you’ll definitely want to come back.
