Hi there, ‘Woodland View’ is run by MaD Island Services and ourselves if needed, we all work together to provide a relaxing space for people to enjoy their holidays. We are born and bred on the Isle of Wight and have always enjoyed the ‘laid back’ lifestyle. My husband and my children are all surfers and we all take part in various water sports. We love the beach life and also long walks through our stunning countryside with the dog. We like to give our guests space but MaD Island, our co hosts, are always available if there are any concerns or requests.

‘Woodland View’ offers a light, airy and modern interior with beautiful wooden beams and floors finished to a very high specification. It is a real ‘home from home’ and has every mod con a family could need to make their stay feel comfortable. Set on a quiet residential road with an area of woodland to the rear. It has views towards the sea enjoying the beauty of the rugged coastline and warm micro-climate of the south of the Isle of Wight. We are also able to offer discounted ferry travel.

Ventnor also boasts various pubs, wine bars, cafes, coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, Take-aways, boutique shops, hair dressers, barbers and beauty salons. We have an award winning ice cream parlour in Ventnor called ‘Crave’ voted No1 on Trip advisor and our 2 favourite bakery style coffee shops & takeaways are ‘The Kitchen @ London House’ and ‘Cantina’ as they all provide such a personal service and an outstanding quality of produce. Ventnor also boasts a beautiful esplanade with beach, pubs, and many different eateries from fine dining (The Hamborough) to seafood specialities ( Smoking Lobster & Ventnor Haven Fishery) and fantastic fish and chips and legendary breakfasts ( Besty & Spinkys at Ocean Blue Quay). There are also many places to grab an artisan coffee or tea and home baked cakes and pastries. Our favourite pub on the seafront is The Spyglass Inn as it is stooped in history and is full of seafaring memorabilia, has an amazing frontal position overlooking the beach and a family friendly menu
