We loved the whole damn thing from start to finish. I wanted to meet my friends somewhere special to just eat and sleep to celebrate my 50th birthday. We had a room each and plenty of space to cook, craft and relax. The rooms were beautiful; I’d say everything g was high end. Lots of lovely finishes everywhere. The fire pit was the icing on the cake as we all sat round it Saturday night for a bit of a meditation session. Lovely. Such a peaceful place with all the facilities we needed. Dom answered every ridiculous question I had before we arrived. My special weekend was utterly perfect, so grateful ♥️

Field Cottage is a charming country cottage is in a peaceful location with country views from every window. It's 10 minutes drive to Ross-On-Wye. The main house has 4 bedrooms, 2 living spaces, dining room & kitchen. There are bunk beds in the kids room however these would be suitable for adults as standard single bunks. The separate self contained annex has a downstairs bathroom and shower room, with upstairs living space/kitchen. A single sofa bed and camp bed can be used upstairs. Field Cottage is situated in a very peaceful lane in the Peterstow countryside, however it's very well connected to the the market town of Ross-On-Wye (10 mins drive) and Hereford (20 mins drive). The cottage was built in 1850 and has 4 bedrooms upstairs. There are 2 living rooms downstairs, a dining room along with a well equipped kitchen. The self contained annex is about 10 metres away from the house with a downstairs double bed and accessible toilet/shower room. Upstairs there is an open plan living room with a sofa bed and kitchen with dining table. There is also access to a camp bed. There are views of the countryside from every window and the house is far enough away from the nearest neighbours to provide a high level of privacy. The gardens are secured with fencing, hedges and a gate to provide a safe environment for children to play along with being dog friendly accommodation. Guests will have private enjoyment of the property and will check in themselves. There are many places to visit in the local area suitable for walkers, children and adults. All of the house and separate self contained annex are available. You'll be able to access the whole property privately including the gardens. Early check in and later check out may be available if not other bookings are in place on the day of arrival or departure. Please kindly ask and we'll see if it's possible. Please kindly check that the rooms are suitable for your requirements.
Self catering holiday accommodation provider and occasional beer tour guide. I am available via phone if required however you will have private hire of the property.
Peterstow is a small village just 5 minutes drive from Ross-On-Wye and 20 mins from Hereford. There is a village shop a short drive away from the cottage along with an excellent farm shop. There are plenty of nearby walks however you'll probably need a car. We have plenty of parking at Field Cottage for 3/4 cars.
