10s across the spectrum.
Location unique, but easy to get to/from via hourly bus and free pick up & return service from main town & ferries.
The beach & water views are stunning day or night. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and delicious-hotel also serves lovely lunch and dinner (shoulder season was buffet dinner-which we enjoyed one night).
Also, the website pictures as of October 2023 don’t reflect re-do of front entry which is even prettier & welcoming. We enjoyed both breakfast and drinks out there at night.

Lovely hotel. Excellent people. Can’t wait to be back.
Everything was very good. The only problem was the meet and greet, which didn’t happen. We had to find the place ourselves and even when we got there they weren’t expecting us. Thank goodness the cleaner was there to let us in. Otherwise, all was good. Would definitely recommend this place, room 8.

Symi is very beautiful and there are some lovely restaurants along the harbour. We would recommend walking up to the lovely church on top of the hill that you can see from the harbour as the view is fantastic. The closest beach didnt seem to have much there so and was very small so we walked along the rugged coastline but it was very rocky to get down into the water! We walked to the village Chorio high up in the mountain where there is a pretty church and an amazing view of Symi. It was lovely to see mountain goats and see chickens along the rugged pathway. We wish we had stayed another day so we could have visited the Monastery.

Symi is a beautiful little island, with an abundance of shops and restaurants to browse and choose from. We stayed around the main harbour area and didn't feel the need to hire a car or take a bus anywhere. We were happy to relax on our balcony for the most part, read, drink coffee and people watch. We did venture to the walk to the small beach one day for a swim, which was lovely.

Friendly people and picture perfect. It was not overcrowded. The restaurants are plentiful and served delicious meals with fresh seafood. Ferries are available for trips to local beaches. Watching the harbour fill each afternoon with amazing boats and yachts was great entertainment whilst sitting at a bar.

Symi is a most beautiful and friendly island.
Symi is a most beautiful and friendly island. Most people only come for the day but it has more than enough to offer for a much longer stay. I have now been three times (for a week) and have still not managed to visit the monastery! Perhaps next time...
The owner of the hotel and the staff members were extremely friendly and hospitable! The room had a wonderful balcony view of the water. The breakfast had plenty of options! They provided transportation to and from the ferry port for us. There were a number of delicious places to eat near Taxiarchis. There was an option to take a bus to the main Symi town, however we took the stairs every time (about 15 min to walk down and 20 min to walk up) which was also a good option. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Taxiarchis and truly enjoyed Symi!!
The house was fantastic I spent a lot of the time on the balcony watching the comings and goings in the harbour, the view by day awesome by night treble it. All the little simple things provided by the host lady that i have never had any where else in many years of travelling greece. The hundred steps from the quayside are worth every single one. I haven't even started to mention the town which also gets the wow factor. Silly things I noticed no rubbish bins anywhere but no litter anywhere and no graffiti. Will I be back YES.
Pedi Beach hotel is a perfect location on Symi. The facilities were fantastic and the rooms beautifully appointed. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant offered great variety at very affordable prices. The reception desk staff were excellent as well as other staff. There are beautiful sun beds and brollies to enjoy your summer in Greece. The local bus passes by the hotel front hourly which is very handy to take in the sites of the island
A+ stay - clean, modern, amazing view, kitchen, washing machine, perfect location. Can’t wait to visit again soon. Ideal location for those wanting to settle into Symi for a few days/weeks, and for those who like to walk - about 15 min down to the main port or to Pedi, though does involve hills so for anyone with mobility issues can take the bus (conveniently located right outside!) Pictures on website very accurate, it’s as great as it looks.
This was a wonderful place in an ancient building, right on the road on the water (which we could see out the windows and door), very convenient to restaurants (one next door), cafes, beaches, everything that the port of Symi has to offer. The space was large and the owners had provided everything one might need for a happy stay, even a bottle of their own wine, and homemade jam!
The location is top notch a quick 5 min to walk to the port where all the amenities (shops & restaurants are) very family friendly! We have 3 kids ages 8,6&5 and the accommodations were very spacious. The free breakfast in the morning is a nice touch. The pool is fantastic! Completely shaded and a nice break from the sun. It’s freezing cold but the kids don’t seem to care.
Quiet waterfront location on the edge of the town,
Breakfast was a help yourself table with coffee machine, which was adequate.
Best things about the stay were the intimacy of the property (4 rooms), the terrace with a view of the town and the bay, and most of all, the exquisite taste of the restoration and conversion of a historic mansion into a boutique hotel.
The Odyssia restaurant and Hotel was by far one of the best places I have stayed/ate and drank at! The property owner and his daughter are genuine and kind. The room we had was spacious and had a big terrace overlooking Symi Port. Delicious food at the restaurant downstairs also!
Thank you for one of best holiday's ever.
Ben & Olga. :)
What an amazing find Grandma's House turned out to be... one of the very best accommodations I have stayed in since first visiting Greece in 1973. The lovely Chrysánthi has thought of everything to make your stay memorable. The location is fantastic... a quiet neighbourhood, very close to the harbour. This property offers true value for money.
Very friendly welcome by Katia. Beautiful and very quiet location on superb Symi island, 2 to 3 kms from the main town and harbour, easily accessible by walking or water taxi. Symi really is a jewel that fully deserves to be discovered. Splendid sea view from the wonderful spacious terrace of the apartment.
My stay was very enjoyable and I would recommend the Albatros Hotel to anyone requiring accomodation on Symi. The owner Nicholas couldn't do enough to make my stay comfortable even coming to make me an early breakfast on departure morning and carrying my suitcase to the ferry on his scooter.EXCELLENT !!
I can truly recommend Grace Hotel & Studios! Excellent location, just around the corner from the harbour. Nice and clean room with a comfortable bed. Thank you Vicky for your service, giving that little extra! Helping me with questions about Symi and making restaurant reservations.
Maria was an amazing host. She couldn’t have been more helpful, she responded very quickly to any queries we had. It’s a great House in a fab location and central to everything in beautiful Symi. We’d love to come back again and would definitely recommend it. Thank you Maria
The hotel was set on the harbour front so the views we had of Symi town and the sea were stunning.
All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was good although a toaster would have been good but this was not a big issue.
the room was an original family home that overlooked the harbor and colorful homes of Symi. Near to town, but far enough away to be quiet. The owner met us at the ferry and was helpful and accommodating. He was a great host.
The hotel was so lovely and the staff (brothers) were so accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and our view was spectacular. The rooms were clear and large. We loved our stay at Asymi.
