Fuego is a wood cabin located in Xenimajuyu Tecpan. It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or family/friends activity in the open air of Guatemala’s countryside. The cabin is close to Iximche ruins, the fist Guatemalan capital. Outside the cabin, you can have a bonfire and enjoy the cold climate Tecpan has to offer while sharing a hot cup of coffee/chocolate.
I’m a big fan of all forms of art, morning walks and coffee. Dreamer. Writer. Hugger. Software Engineer. Aviation enthusiast. If you arrive during the weekend I’ll probably be there to welcome you in person. If you arrive during the week, Carlos our gatekeeper who has worked with my family for over 15 years will great you at your arrival.
The cabin is located 3 blocks away from a cozy family restaurant called la Colina. The center of Tecpan is just 5 min away by car and 10 by chicken-bus. In Tecpan, you can visit Iximche Ruins, Guatemala’s first Capital city. There you will be able to experience Xaman Ceremonies (depending on the day of your visit) and enjoy the open air. The best way to get around is by car. You can also get to Tecpan by bike or . You can visit Xenimajuyus main village walking.
