Cold weather would be nice for you living in dry. Not too busy but enough to see the people in Batu City. Everything we needed was fully accomplished as we travel for a month in Java. Totally worth to visit.

I definitely recommend. I did 4 days tour to Bromo, Batu and Malang. It was Awesome, Great and Fun. I can’t wait to come again. Tour guides are friendly and knowledgeable, dealing with them was easy and perfect during the tour, and most importantly the guide was helpful and informative (https://bromonatural.travel.blog). I recommend to use their service if you want to visit Bromo on a such unique experience.

We went to Batu Secret Zoo and Eco Green Park, and all the animals there looks healthy and well maintained. We were having a great time there. Everything at Museum Angkut also well maintained. And we also love it there. The negative side, the food store inside Batu Secret Zoo and Eco Green Park was not good. It is very cheap, but you sacrifice the taste for the price. The toilet was also not too clean, though it was obvious that the cleaning staff already working so hard to clean it. Unfortunately it looks as though most of the visitors seemed unable to keep it clean. No tissue inside all the toilet, so you need to bring the tissue by yourself. But, the cleaning staff succeeded to keep the park clean. Thumbs up for that. We also went to Batu Night Spectacular and although the kids were very happy, but many facilities there already needs replacement, refurbishment or renovation already.
