A spacious and peaceful setting, but yet all is on your doorstep. A real home feeling, very chilled environment, and all the extras to make your stay memorable... PLEASE be aware that there is a supplementary fee for use of the tub room, towels for hot tub room are not provided. Property has a non smoking policy in place. Please be aware of check in and check out times
Hi there, As you know I am Gillian. I am a busy working mother and wife with two very boisterous boys. I feel that breaks away whether it be with friends, college mates for a who hah, family, inlaws or just mindfulness for oneself is vital in todays world. I have for years done trips through airbnb accommodation since putting down my rucksack and settling. I enjoy allowing myself to' catch the moments', if it be hearing the cuckoo, listening to the ocean, seeing the flora and fauna,hearing to the rain peltdown, appreciating the farmers love of the land and wondering of our ancestors before them, in awe with the summer/winter swimmers/surfers/ dophins, the seasons and the temperament of mother nature, what she give and what she takes, the proudness of our culture, race, language and music. I am fuelled by my passion for all things Irish; its places, its people, its sports, its culture and its crafts. I see, feel and hear all this when I am in the right place and this is 'Paddy's Haven' and my stunning base the Banner county of Clare, in the personal view that 'West is the best'
Kilrush town is a market and heritage town with all the facilities and supermarkets you will need from a good sized town. It boasts a beautiful walled garden, a blue flag beach at Cappa pier which is 3min by car, a popular Children’s playground, Marina, West Coast Aqua Park, tours of Scattery Island and dophin watching, Kilrush over all is an excellent base for exploring the wild west, loop head Peninsula and Co. Clare in general. There is bicycle hire locally in Kilrush, Kilkee and Doonbeg. Hiring of kayaks in Kilrush Marina, Kilkee Bay and up along the coast of Clare. There Dive Centre in Kilkee, fishing tours and island/dolphin watch tours. Golf is an option with ample golf courses up along the coast of Clare, such as Kilkee, kilrsuh, Trumps international, Spanish point. Public transport is extremely limited. Own vehicle is essential. Local town few min away, as are the beaches. you could do the whole west coast in one day! Co.Clare ain't massive really. There is also a local taxi van available and number at property, reasonably priced.
