Heimaleiga is a property management company, located in Iceland. The whole team at Heimaleiga is focused on making our guests feel comfortable staying with us, so they can feel at home. We offer a variety of properties in Iceland, so everyone can find a short-term accommodation that feels like home, while on vacation.

Our apartments are located on the main commercial shopping street in Reykjavik, Laugavegur. When you exit the apartment building and turn right, you can walk Laugavegur towards the city center. Along the walk there is a lot of shops, restaurants and also some bars. Most of the bars and restaurants are located in the city center and it takes 5-10 minutes to walk there. Many tourist attractions are a short walking distance from the apartments. The Reykjavik bus terminal, Hlemmur, is located to the left of the apartments. From there you can catch a bus all around Reykjavik. Most routes have a schedule every 20 minutes. The apartments are studio apartments that can accommodate up to 4 persons. There is a double/twin bed and then some sofa bed. Being studio apartments there isn't any door from the living room to the bedroom - so called open plan living. The apartments have all the facilities you can expect to find in a modern day apartment, including, washer, dryer and dishwasher. There is no reception in the building. We will send an email to you with instructions on how to access your apartment (codes) - you can 'check-in' any time after 3pm.

As the apartments are located towards the end of Laugavegur street it means there is more peace and quiet as they are on the edge of downtown. It is within walkable distance of Hallgrimskirkja (10 minutes), Solfar Sculpture (10 minutes), Harpa concert hall (15 minutes) and city center (10 minutes). Many other museums and tourist attractions are within walking distance (5-15 minutes). There is a tourist information office on the Laugavegur street, which is one of the attractions in Reykjavik (the street, not the information office).
