The neighborhood is lively, not so much touristic and full of art history: just around the corner you’ll find the masterpieces of Tiepolo and Canaletto at Cà Rezzonico museum, in five minutes you’ll reach the Accademia Gallery with Giorgione, Bellini, Carpaccio, Veronese, Tintoretto and Tiziano or, in the opposite side, the Frari basilica with Tiziano and Bellini pieces. The Peggy Guggheineim museum with its masterpieces of modern and contemporary art (Pollock, Magritte, Giacometti, Calder, Max Ernst ..) is just 10 minutes walking and you’ll reach the contemporary museum of Punta della Dogana and the baroque church of Santa Maria della Salute in a pleasant walk on Zattere and Fondamenta degli Incurabili, facing Giudecca island.
