Hi I'm Bob and Maby we have a wonderful vacation apartment to rent during the summer in Matino in the province of Lecce. We have inherited this apartment from our father, and we have decided to re-invent it and turn it into summer accommodation for tourists who love Salento. Our B&B is located in a strategic point and is 15 minutes away. drive from Gallipoli and its crowded beaches. The particularity of our B&B is divided with a loft and a star-shaped ceiling with a bedroom, while below is a bathroom with a table and a sofa bed if you are more than two people. Momentarily the structure does not have a kitchen but we plan to enlarge the structure for better comfort for our customers.

Roberto is a fan of interiors, in fact the restoration and the idea took place thanks to him.

Matino rises on the Salento greenhouses at 75 m s.l.m. 10 km from the Ionian coast and 25 km from the extreme tip of the Salento peninsula represented by Capo di Leuca. The territory, strongly karstic, is devoid of surface watercourses but very rich in underground streams fed by the so-called "Vore", natural sinkholes of rainwater located in natural depressions of the land. The municipality, which covers an area of 26, 28 km², reaches 38 m s.l.m. of minimum height and 172 m s.l.m. of maximum height. The town dominates the valley called Taviano-Matino which represents one of the most fertile areas of Salento. The predominant crops are the olive tree and the vine but with ample space dedicated to arable crops and greenhouse crops, especially flowers. Very frequent are the farms, large rural buildings that insisted on large landed estates, fruit of the notable impulse given to the agricultural production in the Bourbon period
