It is located 5 minute on foot from the nearest station Emmachi. It is convenient to go to Arashiyama and Fushimi Inari Taisha because this house is located 5 minutes on foot from JR Emmachi Station and you can arrive at Kyoto Station from Emmachi Station in about 10 minutes. Because I prepare the TrueSleeper for futon, I think that you sleep very comfort. Also, the house itself is a nice house, the house I want to live in. I lend the whole house to you while you stay at my house. Visitors not part of this reservation are not allowed to stay. I will meet you when you arrive, have photos of all of you passport and have them fill out the guest list. *************************** * Kyoto Accommodation Tax * *************************** Also, from 1 October 2018, taxation of accommodation tax began in Kyoto city. I was born in Kyoto and brought up in Kyoto, I stayed in Atsugi for a year and a half. I started airbnb in 2014. In addition to not only handing over keys when guests arrive, we will also provide you with useful information for sightseeing and staying around 30 minutes to an hour. Also, If I have a time, I invite most guests to drink. I think I was going out for drinking with more than 300 guests. It is a very local restaurant, mostly locals. If time is right, let's go drinking!
+++++ Location +++++ My listing is not located in the downtown area of Kyoto-city(20-30 min), but is the area where many people live in from old days. The nearest station and bus stop is JR ENMACHI (in Japanese "円町"). You can go to the downtown area on a bus from there in about 20 minutes. Buses toward the various places are running at about 10-20 minute intervals. If you walk around the area for five to ten minutes, there are several restaurants, grocery store stores and sweets stores, etc. +++++ Neighborhood +++++ My listing is located in a quiet residential area. Please be considerate of our neighbors and keep the music and voice down. +++++ Transportation +++++ It is the cheapest and most convenient to take the bus in Kyoto. If it is the regular route (it covers most of Kyoto areas), it is 230 yen for a one-way fare. The 1-day bus pass ticket is 500 yen. If you get on a bus 3 times, you can get your money's worth. The subway is 210-250 yen for a one-way fare. A bus and subway 1-day pass is 1, 200 yen. You can go by JR train to ARASHIYAMA and KYOTO station and FUSHIMI-INARI TAISHA shrine.
