View, Location, Room, Architecture were all exceptional. Highly recommended. Short steep hill to climb to get to hotel, but that is what provides the wonderful lake view. Short walk to town and markets, and tooth temple a reasonable walk, also. Nice a la carte breakfast either Sri Lankan or western. Staff were all very nice and professional.

A brilliant stay - one of our favourite accommodations of the trip! The rooms of the eco lodge are extremely well thought through and comfortable, and the balcony was great to relax on. The breakfast / dining area was also fab, as was the food served there. We loved enjoying the gentle breeze with the view over Kandy and the lovely staff.

Very good location, great view from the balcony to the lake and there was a Mango tree just next to our balcony, on which Flying foxes were dining at nights! Unforgettable!!! Great local food in the restaurant!!! Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend!!!

The staff were very accommodating. We arrived at about 3am from our flight and they made sure we were able to smoothly get into our room. The room was very large, bed very comfy and view was very nice. The breakfast was great! The location was wonderful. So close, just a 5 minute walk to be in the business of Kandy but just tucked away enough to be quiet and feel like we were out of it.

The staff were tremendously helpful from check in right through to the late check-out I was offered and made use of. My room was a good size with downstairs bathroom and a spacious balcony with a wonderful view across Kandy Lake to The Temple of the Tooth. Breakfasts were very substantial and tasty with a choice of Sri Lanka or Western food. I had one of each and they were equally good. The hotel is very central so you can walk to most places.

Beautiful setting and design, with comfortable and spacious rooms. You felt like you were in the jungle but with all of the modern comforts; we saw a mongoose and you could hear frogs at night! The bed was extremely comfortable and staff were so helpful and friendly. They were always available to answer questions and arranged for tickets to a traditional dance show. The breakfast was great and we also had dinner at the restaurant which was delicious! Perfect location in easy walking distance to both the train/bus station and the Temple of the Tooth.
