The owner Federico went above and beyond, greeting us every day with thoughtful breakfast that contained some Maltese cuisine. He was always ready to suggest new places to explore, interesting facts about Malta and many other things. His place was cozy, our room could use extra chairs to relax but there was a common place to sit for all the guests with the kitchen that we all had an access to. We would love to stay there again mainly because of Federico and his beautiful spirit.

The property is situated in a quiet alley in Gharb. We received clear communication on how to enter etc and it was easy to find thanks to the instructions. Breakfast is self service with a selection of continental items. I also like that they had some items one can borrow such as a speaker or a snorkel.

Gharb may not be centre of Gozo but you can manage well from there. Bus is scheduled on hourly basis from Gharb. You can walk from Mushroom stone till Zwejni Bay covering all attractions in 3-4 hours. Ta Pinu basilica is at walking distance and so is Gharb church.

If I compare Malta, gozo with other places around the world, I would not come to visit Malta at all. It's not worthed. Luckily we met every day interesting people to make our stay enjoyable. The quality of food is very poor, no development in the island. That's a pity. It could be much better, if it will be made more statt for tourism. It might be a good idea to improve it, changing the management through European people and not just from the local. The standard will not improve at all otherwise.... Anyway I don't suggest anyone to come on Malta, or Gozo. The Fotos are just made off. It's not as it's sold.

Gharb is a charming laid back Gozitan Village. There are some interesting museums, eateries, and from some properties you can see the Ta Pinu Sanctuary.
Gharb Rangers, Bar & Restuarant is a local restuarant. -
Salvina's restuarant is also in Gharb.
In San Lawrence, very close to Gharb we visited Tatitas - superb food, gracious staff and great for couples and friends celebrating a special occasion.
We ventured to Xaghra, Tal Furnar for some authetic homemade pizza and slow cooked pork.
On our last day, we had lunch at The View in Zebbug, Gozo.
There are good opportunities for walking and trekking from Gharb to Ta Pinu; from Gharb to St Dimitri Chapel and from Gharb to Wied il-Mielah.

Whole island Gozo is great place for relaxation as there isn’t such a high touristic activity and if you want avoid ppl it’s quite easy to do so. Although on the other hand you can find places to find a company if you want to:) The nature and the views here are really nice and we enjoyed it a lot. Ppl here are extremely friendly, prices almost everywhere are very reasonable and the internet connection is everywhere too. We like the place a lot! All recommendations.
Location was in a perfect area, tucked in a nook away from traffic. The village of Għarb, with its splendid Baroque church, is rich in late medieval character and local cuisine restaurants are within walking distance. The property is an expression of traditional Maltese architecture built in centuries-aged honey-coloured limestone. It has a homely aura and the living room, where breakfast is served presents a stress-free space where one can unwind, or else refresh and lounge in the adjoining outdoor pool area.
Extremely clean, comfy and spacious room. Full bathtub. The inside has a very homey feel but with all of the comforts of a hotel room. With a chrome cast TV as well! The breakfast was included and much of it were made by the host and it was delicious. Access to a balcony and two pools.
Beautiful quiet town close to lots of great Gozo sights. We felt we got a superb deal for the price we paid and were sad we couldn’t have stayed longer!
The house is located in a wonderful, extremely tranquil and peaceful spot in Għarb. It is very well equipped, and done up to high standards. The outside area with the pool was just the rights size for a small party like ours. The kids enjoyed it especially. There were clear instructions left about the use of appliances, etc, which made everything so easy.
Size of place 5 bed, 6 bath is very generous, rooms very spacious. Wifi available everywhere. Pet friendly.
Very clean, especially compared with past experiences in other farmhouses. Fully equipped kitchen (including 2 fridge/freezers). Automatic washing machine, dishwasher. Place is distributed on three floors so bedrooms are private like a mini hotel.
Big family room with comfortable beds, refrigerator, flat TV with free Netflix and a balcony. Complimentary hot breakfast. Two small outdoor pools and many sun beds. Public bus stop in front of the hotel. Short walking distance to two restaurants and a small grocery shop. Parking is possible on the street. Cold water is available around the clock.
Our host is an incredibly kind, thoughtful and tasteful person. He will prepare you wonderful traditional breakfasts in the morning. He's doing everything he can to make you comfortable. The hotel's location is also in the center of Gharb. It is a clean and tidy hotel. A safe hotel in the comfort of your own home. Thank you for everything.
well situated on Gozo (close to lots of fine beaches and sightseeing stops), beautifully equipped rooms in the garden, great pool you can swim at throughout the night and day, parking is free in front of the hotel, three choices of breakfast menus (inclusive good coffee), extremely friendly and helpful staff ;)
This was wonderful experience! The hotel was super clean, well designed with lovely details (THE place for instagram pictures) and the staff was friendly and professional. The pool is open 24hours and breakfast was with wide variety both local and classic food. Highly recommend!
The owner Micheal, is super with his unique wife that makes the perfects home made cakes, it is an honor,to be at his boutique hotel, less than 10 points is an insult, cause he treats everybody as his family.
We really enjoyed our visit here! Really nice and helpful owners. Really Recommend this hotel, its very cozy and have a good standard. We’re really happy and can’t wait to come back
