The breakfast was awesome. Great strong coffee, fresh orange juice, toast, butter w/jelly & a beautifully prepared fruit plate every morning 7:30-10am. Carlo's was very attentive to every need. He even ran off alittle over friendly iguana 😂 for me, he also arranged a rental golf cart & drove me to centro to pick it up. Above & beyond.

No coffee machine as stated, none of the rooms look anything like the photos, they are dirty and noisy and light and until after midnight. Total rip-off for what it was

We have day tripped over to Isla Mujeres several times over...
We have day tripped over to Isla Mujeres several times over the past 25 years, but never stayed overnight. We stayed for 7 nights this time. It has become, for the most part, a tourist trap. It is a small island with not a big variety of things to do. The turtle farm was closed during our visit, but we did enjoy going down to Punta Sur, that is worth your $6. It's a good place to leave from for snorkeling and diving. Things are fairly expensive there so don't expect cheap groceries or sundries there. Many places have no prices, so I suspect tourist and locals get different prices. I don't think golf cart rental is worth the money because taxis are everywhere and priced fairly.

This was my second time spending a week in Isla Mujeres.
This was my second time spending a week in Isla Mujeres. The island is very charming and has a lovely local vibe (though there are lots of tourists)--it's nothing like Cancun, though it has plenty of amenities. However this time, I found the services (food, drinks, golf-cart rental, etc) to be very expensive--the prices were comparable and even higher than at home. This was a surprise and we could have budgeted accordingly.
But still, beautiful beaches, water, sunsets, plenty of places to eat/drink.

I think 3 night would be enough to stay on this island.
I think 3 night would be enough to stay on this island. Besides the beaches, there's nothing spectacular to do that you wouldn't find elsewhere in the Cancun-Playa-Tulum area. Bring cash, pesos, it should be renamed to "solo efectivo(cash only) island", restaurants that accept cards are rare, the rates at the local exchange offices are not great.

Beautiful place to visit!
Beautiful place to visit! Friendly people, great live music, lots of restaurants, and food stands. The water was an amazing color of turquoise blue and the sand was soft and white. It was easy to rent a golf cart and tour the entire island. We had an amazing time!

This was our last stop before the end of our three week...
This was our last stop before the end of our three week backpacking around Yucatan . We stayed for five days and it was just right amount of time for us as Isla Mujeres is not that big . It’s however very pretty and scenic and every traveller should make at least 3 day stop there . Town has many restaurants and shops and if you go further away from the port , it gets even prettier . Locals are very friendly , although in town they’re hard to haggle with about prices ( not as cheap and easy as in Cozumel or other islands ) . You sort of get the feel that there are lot of Americans around ( as it’s close to Cancun ) who tend to pay silly money for souvenirs and locals seem to know that so they’re not budging with prices . So word of advice : if you are planning to get cheap souvenirs , get them in Cozumel or Holbox . Other than that , Isla Mujeres is a very pretty island to visit.

Isla can be very busy with overnight guests but day trippers...
Isla can be very busy with overnight guests but day trippers as well. So many places to eat and drink but don’t be afraid to wander off the Main Street and check out smaller establishments and the street carts. Family run places are the best. Not the deals price wise there used to be but still decent value.
Madjid was the kindest and most helpful host. When we met him he gave us a map of the island with loads of recommendations. The room is in the best location close to everything and was just perfect. It really made our trip staying here! The host is so welcoming with the cutest little cat. Monica who greeted us with our keys was also lovely and was waiting outside for us even though we were later than expected. Room was cleaned every day and WiFi was excellent too! Best place to stay on Isla Mujeres
Súper nice hotel, 2 seconds (seconds!) walk to the beach. Check in and out is easy, dolor lock is very safe, room is very clean, kitchen very useful. It has air conditioning. Súper safe for a female solo traveller. They let You leave your luggage if the room is not ready (watch out: check in at 3pm). I stayed twice in this hotel, and i would totally go back. Way cleaner than many other places in the island. Proximity to the best beach is an amazing plus.
Very very nice people. Great location. Easily Walkable to the wonderful North beach, the ferry, restaurants and shops. The pool is pretty and large. We felt safe and welcome and in an area humming with the vibrancy of Mexico.
The rooms had great AC, the hotel is open air besides rooms, so you are not in a world apart from the island. Nice restaurant location with average prices, live music in the afternoon.
The beach and party is cleaned every morning.
What a great apartment this is! it is brand new (which is why it has no reviews) and has everything one needs during a short stay in Isla Mujeres including a big comfortable bed and a very modern and clean kitchen. Bathroom was big and clean with a big shower (with hot water). the best part of the apartment was the patio with a fan so you could enjoy some shade in the morning. if you don’t mind being directly in the center, this is a fantastic option.
This hotel is a 2 star hotel so we expected basic accommodations, which we got.
The location is very central and a quick walk ( minutes) to Playa Norte, the Mercado municipal for the best tacos/ sopes and fresh juices in the downtown. The room was clean and we had a room on the top level, which allowed the ocean breeze to come in in the evening . Shower was warm after a few minutes.
The hotel was located very close to the ferry stop, it took us about 4/5 minutes of walking. The hotel offered us beach towels every day that we could hand back once we were back from the beach, which was very nice. And even though Isla Mujeres is a very small island, the main street (where you can find food spots and souvenir shops was also just a 2 mins walk!).
What isn’t there to like? This hotel by far was the best I’ve seen and I’ve travelled around the world a fair bit. Everywhere you looked it was perfect, you felt the luxury feeling as soon as the boat picks you up. The butler service Omar was fantastic and all staff in the whole resort were exceptional.
The place was beautifully furnished, great location, and good hot water (just need to wait for system to heat up). The property manager, Jo, was really attentive. Never met but quick responses through WhatsApp, and easily sorted early check-in for us. Would stay there again when back on Isla Mujeres.
The property was clean, private and had a lovely view overlooking the ocean. Adriana was a fantastic host, she went above and beyond to try and help me get the best out of my stay on Isla Mujeres. Unfortunately, the weather ruined my plans but Adriana was very accommodating and understanding.
The hospitality of a small hotel and the luxury of the Zoetry chain. It was our third time and hopefully not the last one, truly a "home away from home" feeling. Fresh food, made to order, excellent service and kindness. The spa massages were great, yoga, pool & beach service.
Had Ocean Front room on ground floor with plunge pool. Great views, but mosquitos could be bad at night and dawn...so bring protection.
The pool was the best. Food average, over priced with no ambience. Go to neighbor Hotel Belo for breakfast, Lunch and dinner.
only good thing is the location, it’s on the north beach, best beach on the island.
having said that, there are dozens of hotels on the playa Norte that are much cheaper and have a thousand times better customer service and a smiling, fun and polite staff.
Staff was attentive and responsive. Never felt neglected or never had a request denied. Best water pressure of any hotel I have ever had in Mexico. Bath and bed were beyond expectation. Housekeeping was over-the-top.
Michelle, Javier, Enoch, Luis, Jordan… everybody in this hotel is so nice. Great service. Very clean. this place is wonderful. the best hotel in Isla Mujeres in my opinion. thank you guys very much!
