Newly renovated, co no intent to airport but still in quiet neighborhood, spacious room, nice bathroom, elevator. Small neighborhood fry house across street for quick snack or convenient dinner. Huge AHeijn nearby, and really neat Aalsmeer historical and gardening museum- well worth a visit.

Silence, tranquility and pacification are what you will find here. Balanced, pleasant to talk to and friendly people will meet you everywhere. The town is good for weekend excursions or as a place for comfortable quiet overnight stay. My sincere recommendations.

Nothing much there, we wouldn't have gone had our friend not been living there. It isn't near enough to any attraction to warrant specifically choosing it as a base. It IS very quiet, though, so that would be a bonus for those looking to get away from the city. I personally preferred the quiet solitude of Uithoorn compared to the chaotic mess of Amsterdam.aaaRtSingapore - 8.0Scored 8.0

Beautiful B & B and in a beautiful location. We hadn't read around location as well as we thought and were surprised at how it took an hour on the bus to the centre, so not ideal for us really due to how we were only there for two days and wanted to see as many sights as possible! HOWEVER, we love immersing ourselves in the culture of wherever we visit and we were able to do this here. The quality of the bedrooms is exceptional and the food was excellent, too. We only sampled the breakfast that was included but it was delicious. The staff are so lovely and friendly - they made the stay very comfortable. Uithoorn is a beautiful location and has lots places to visit - good to have a night out there, even on a Sunday!

It is not really located in Amsterdam, but it's definitely cheaper than the alternatives in the city. The bus stop is just 5 minutes away. Our room was up two flights of narrow stairs but worth the climb in terms of atmosphere and set up. Their breakfast served in the restaurant downstairs was very good. The hotel's location is quite accessible; just a few minutes away from Uithoorn Bus Station by foot. Schiphol, Haarlem and Amsterdam are all easily accessible, too.
