I’m so happy I took this trip as it met /exceeded my expectations. From the very prompt communication prior to arriving, the arrangement of transportation, the food, the staff are well organized and hospitable. The island was well maintained. I was pleased to see an outlet and light in each room. The food (chicken or fish ) there were options about its preparation (fried or grilled) and the accompanying sides (potatoes, plantan, rice and beans) Breakfast also was simple. Beer was cheap and cold. There were also other drinks including wine, rum, and vodka. no juice or fresh fruit :( . Things aren’t always posted /communicated so it pays to ask. hammock+chair can rented for 10 dollars for whole stay . snorkelling equipment can be rented for 5 dollars. Snorkeling tour is 20 dollars. The staff work hard and some like to talk to visitors . Other are quiet but still pleasant.
Discovery Gunayar is located in Waisalatupo. An American, vegetarian or vegan breakfast is available each morning at the property. There's an in-house bar and guests can also use the business area.
Offering a private beach area, Isla diablo cabañas en la orilla del mar baño compartido provides accommodations in Cagantupo. This beachfront property offers access to a patio.

You have to know that the island itself is very pretty, small and is meant for relaxation. The cottages are really rustic and beds aren’t comfortable, it is NOT a resort, you have to go with a mindset of staying on a deserted island and just be grateful that there are community toilets and shower. Definitely no luxuries but the views and star filled sky at night are awesome and worth the trip. The staff is amazingly friendly and they even have a solar panel fueled electrical socket in the dining area to recharge phone during the day

San blas islands are beautiful, and the Kunas are very friendly, but our experience at Mamartupo was less than perfect, even though we expected to rough it out, cabanas naranjo chico was a dirty run down place that did not deliver at all on the advertised paradise!!
The hut was very very run down, the attitude of the staff was not great and the food not good at all. We also had to endure loud music until 11 am and babies crying and dogs barking from 5 am on, the beach was far away and along the way you could see how dirty and un-ecological the locals kept their island. We left early the next morning and took all boat from isla perro chico to the port without coming back for “lunch” I recommend san Blas island and enjoyed learning about the Kuna culture, I recommend also looking for the other many offers around the island Adbid Cabanas naranjo chico was below any standard.
