Location was beautiful and the house is huge. Plenty of room for 8 and still room to spread out. The bathrooms are newly renovated and the whole home feels like a retreat.

Actually, we were traveling to Highland County for the Maple Festival. Staying in Hot Springs got us pretty close to the county line so that we could head out early. Hot Springs and Warm Springs are all lovely scenic places to visit. The Maple Festival was awesome and there were so many things to do and see and lots and lots of wonderful food. This whole area has a lot to offer.

    The spa is wonderful.

The spa is wonderful. I paid $75 for a day pass that is per person. We got there at 10 and we showed around the different areas of the spa. We took in the Hot Springs which was wonderful and also had the outdoor swimming pool and heated hot tub. They serve drinks poolside and there’s also a café where you can order a healthy lunch. T hotel has several restaurants and one of them is at the lower links part of the golf course. We chose to eat in the Jefferson dining room and the food was wonderful. I would recommend making your spa reservation and your dinner reservations well before you arrive like maybe even a few weeks prior. We visit the Homestead a few times a year so I know that that is important to get your reservations in because depending on the time of year it can be crowded and you would not be able to get a primetime dinner reservation. Also the spa amenities need appointments if you want a massage or your nails or hair done as well as booking horseback riding, falconry, and other amenities that the hotel provides. Warm Springs is in a beautiful part of Virginia known as the highlands. If you’re going to fly it’s probably best to fly or take the train into Roanoke and get a rental car from there I think the Roanoke airport also has limo service up to the hotel.
