we were there for our Son's wedding so we were in festive mode anyway. We also stayed at a hotel in Otay Ranch Town Center which was much closer to all of the Wedding activities and Wedding. Lots of good places to eat and things to do there. We like the Rambler because it is more centrally located to all of the San Diego area and is really easy to get in and out of. We prefer to stay at Hotels that are not the homogenous chain type and that have a more local flavor which The Rambler certainly has. We look forward to our next stay at the Rambler. The bathroom is infested with cucarachas / 🪳 roaches They were everywhere on top of the sink and on my tooth brush I had to trowed it away The complete bathroom had an horrible smell I asked for a king size bed and I got a queen size Not a single chair to sit on There was no comforter ! Horrible experience, first of all at checkin the credit card machine wasn’t working so the employee send me to the nearest gas station to get cash from an ATM. After I did that we went to our room and as soon as we open the door we notice water on the flood and the room smelled funny. The AC unit was leaking. The bathroom door don’t have a handle nor a lock, just a freaking whole where the handle goes. There was also a water Roach on the bathroom wall. After all that I honestly couldn’t stay there any longer and we ended up leaving after paying $80 dollars for the night.AAnonymous

Our check in clerk made our welcoming very pleasant for my mom and I and also my sister and brother in law when they checked in later. We had planned a weekend game at Petco Park our easy walk to the trolley was amazing being that the San Diego Trolley was only a block away from the hotel. I wish I could remember the clerks name not to sure if it was Tiffany. We will defiantly recommend to family and friends.
