It was very quiet, not many people d/t rebuilding since the hurricane a couple years ago. The shells were abundant. Sunsets are amazing
Definitely visit the ding darling reserve. We went 4 times. $ 10.00 a day and you can come and go best money spent

The Inn was close to the beach. The bed was comfortable. Room had a kitchen area if you wanted to cook. The outside area had multiple areas to sit and relax. We loved that it had beach towels, chairs, an umbrella and a cart to take to the beach. We had a wonderful time

This is a cute little hotel that we will definitely be revisiting in the future. The accommodations are roomy and super clean. It is located right across from the beach and is a very short drive from many of the best restaurants on the island. Absolute highlight of our trip.

Very clean. Air conditioning was great. We had room 3. Loved having the bikes on the property to use. Would definitely recommend this to friends. Overall esthetics, I’d give 10 out of 10.

This was a family trip for my Mom, my Aunt, and myself. My Mom has arthritis, so next time we might need to book closer to the beach. The apartment is beautiful and pristine, all top of the line appliances and the mattresses were AMAZING. Really cute place, but might be better for a younger crowd unless there is transport to the beach. That is not at all a complaint- I should have checked the distance before booking, for younger folks the walk to the beach is no problem! But us older crowd, lol, we need help. Thank you for providing a beautiful apartment, and all the best to you and everyone on Sanibel. #Sanibel Strong 🦩🩷🌺

Sanibel is still a great place to vacation.
Sanibel is still a great place to vacation. Although it is heartbreaking to see all the damage from the hurricane, it's still a great option. We've been going to Sanibel for about 8 years and it's our happy place. We can't wait for the island to renew itself.

Sanibel is a beautiful island, so relaxing as soon as you get there! The island is so well maintained and driving is easy.
The cycle paths are fantastic too and my preferred way of exploring the island.
Lots of accommodation and restaurant choices.
Plenty of wildlife to see and it is superb for shelling. I only spent 3 nights here but I wish I could have stayed longer. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a relaxing beach holiday. I hope to return one day!
Wie always choose this hotel on Sanibel: Awesome beautiful place and houses, built and decorated with much love, utilities for shelling on site (a washplace for shells is outstanding!), own grassland with showers and hammrock, directly behind the beach, quiet location, bar (Crazy Flamingo) reachable by foot and the staff is really nice! An 0815 ibis hotel room in a concrete building you can have everywhere, but this nice cottages are extraordinary!
It was on the beach and included chairs and umbrellas. The food was good, but very expensive. The condo decor was average. The pillows were awful. The DISH did. It work the entire week. They finally came to repair it on Friday afternoon…too little too late. I asked for an adjustment to our bill and was told they would speak to the manager and call me back. That never happened. This was a “once and done” for us.
This resort was one of the few now opened 15 months after Hurricane Ian. There was nothing at all wrong with the facility; it was just not the cottage like facility we had patronized for the previous 27 years. Our “resort” was the Castaways. Hurricane Ian removed that completely from existence. Sanibel island Beach Resort is a hotel with direct access to the beach.
From our room on to the beach in less than 5 minutes walking. Gorgeous beach with sooo many seashells to collect. Children loved the main pool and the ice cream shop within the hotel. Amazing assistance at the hotel. We had a wifi connection problem and the engineer came to our room at 10 pm to help us fix it.
Location is amazing. Right on the beach on Sanibel Island. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location on the beach is wonderful. We were able to cook in the little kitchen and also use the gas grills. We had a delightful stay. The exchange for towels etc was simple and straightforward. We will stay here again.
The location of the hotel, along with the grounds and the pool are absolutely lovely! Although small the room had a fridge, microwave and they were also able to accommodate our request for a toaster. Bathroom is a great size just needs updating
Location is right on the beach, chairs umbrellas and carts along with beach towels are free, staff is very accomodating and pleasant, nice outdoor shower to help rinse off all the sand and salt. Beautiful beach, great stay.
Fabulous position, gorgeos grounds and buildings.Lovely staff. Great breakfasts. Comfortable.Walking distance to some restaurants. Freebies, padfleboardz, kayaks etc. Idyllic. Ideal for visiting Sanibel and Captiva.
Really lovely place with great facilities. So nice to see it recovering from the hurricane. Really welcoming atmosphere and we will definitely be back to stay on Sanibel in the future. Bed was really comfy too!
Right on the beach with gulf views,...it was exactly as I asked for and expected. The facility is older, but clean. TONS of activity amenities that I wish we stayed longer for so that we could use.
The location of the hotel is great very very close to the beach
the room was big with kitchen refrigerator micro and coffee machine
breakfast was great rich
The internet was good
Excellent location on the beach and easy biking distance to sights and restaurants. We stayed with our 2 kids and it was perfect for them. We would not hesitate to stay there again.
Nice little place, very clean and good location, best price we found on Sanibel. Since they were qick to solve our complaint, would stay again and recommend to our friends.
