Beautiful property with a beautiful view and a wonderful place to relax. The kids loved it so much we stayed a second night on our trip. Beware though... The cows down the Hill are very nosy haha. You won't regret this stop in Hatch.

The Bunkhouse River View was the cutest cabin we have ever stayed in. It was the last cabin on the property and a little more private. It had everything we needed for our one night’s stay, including Folgers coffee. It was tastefully decorated.

Property info

Staying on a 280 acre cattle ranch is a unique experience. There is lots of buffer space to neighboring properties and a lot of wildlife around. The river flowing through the pasture filled with horses and cattle is beautiful and is an additional benefit as you can fish in it if you purchase a Utah State fishing license.

Neighborhood info

The Sevier River Ranch and Cattle Company is located in Hatch, a small rural town of 200 people. Locals are very friendly and helpful, and you shouldn't hesitate to ask anyone for tips and recommendations. The Sevier River Ranch is very private on the edge of town. It sits on 280 acres and is traversed by the Sevier River. Note that there are convenience stores in Hatch during the busy season, but no grocery store in Hatch and you should plan to bring at least some food with you. The nearest grocery store is in Panguitch (15 mins) and you will find a Walmart Supercenter, Smiths, and Lyns supermarkets in in Cedar City (1 hour) as well as grocery stores in Kanab (1 hour). There is no public transportation. You will need a car. A 4x4 or high clearance vehicle is recommended in order to enjoy the surrounding trails, but a regular low-clearance sedan is sufficient to access the property itself.
