The surprisingly comfortable Murphy bed allowed more space to move about during the day in this studio room. Well-equipped kitchen area. Quiet. Appreciated having the complimentary self-service laundry as well as a heated pool with adjacent steam room. Staff was attentive and pleasant. Lifts less than 50 yards away couldn't have been more convenient.

The ski resort has a lot of good terrain and great staff.
The ski resort has a lot of good terrain and great staff. However, the snow wasn’t good this year for skiing. We recommend skiers go later in the season. Also, there isn’t much of a village at the resort itself, and it’s a 5 mile drive to get to the town center that has additional shops/restaurants.

The hotel management was unresponsive.
The hotel management was unresponsive. My husband had Covid and we were unable to travel on the reservation dates, I booked through booking.com, they were awesome! But the hotel would not change or refund my reservations, even after bookings.com offered to wave any charges or commissions. Two calls were placed to the general manager with no return phone call… complete disregard for my situation.

Spaced between Bozeman and Western Gate to Yellowstone.
Spaced between Bozeman and Western Gate to Yellowstone. Have to have a car but the location lets you get to Yellowstone in about 1 1/2 hours and Bozeman Museum of the Rockies in about 40 minutes. On HWY 191 which is at intersection to Big Sky main day trips easy.

The mountain is enormous.
The mountain is enormous. It’s like three ski resorts in one place. Plus it’s in Montana, so the locals are nice. I will ski there again.
Public transportation from the big sky village to the mountain after 6 PM is nonexistent. If you stay in the hotels up on the mountain, you’ll need a car. All the nice restaurants are in the big sky village down the mountain. There is no Uber. There are no public buses like in BEAVER CREEK, Vail, or Park City. I was totally surprised at the lack of public transportation. I need to fix that.

Large ski resort with very long enjoyable runs.
Large ski resort with very long enjoyable runs. Cafeteria is crowded between 11:30 and 1:30. Although some lines were long the ski trails were not since skiers could spread out once they reach the top.
Town Center was nice but could use a few more shops.

Okay, so I will NEVER use booking.com or visit this property...
Okay, so I will NEVER use booking.com or visit this property again. Not at all worth it for the money. The airline delayed us two days and the hotel would Not accommodate us…. I mean really, who could of known about this additional variant??? Also, the lack of service personnel was evident . Again, for 1000 dollars a night I expect more…. Very dissatisfied and couldn’t wait to get home.
Convenient location in a lovely area with views of the mountains. It is close to the town center, Big Sky Ski Resort and the Nordic Center on the golf course. The house was very comfortable and spacious for 7 adults. Easy to prepare meals in the large kitchen and dine on the ample sized dining table. We enjoyed the large living room every evening for socializing and cocktails and the fireplace was very nice (lots of wood in the garage). The garage access was very convenient and it fit 2 vehicles including a large truck with shell.
Our room was a studio which we chose to get a full kitchen for the 2 of us, primarily to make breakfast. The room was a bit cramped, but well equipped and worked well for 2 of us. The resort has good facilities (we used the hot tub), is RIGHT next to the slopes, has a super convenient and friendly ski valet to store your gear overnight. It is part of the base complex that has restaurants, convenience store, and ski shops so everything is in walking distance.
Nice big rooms with very comfortable beds and warm blankets. Used microwave and large refrigerator and sink. Slept well and had very good views of Lonesome Peak out window. Great place to stay for downhill skiing, exploring Big Sky and Ousel Falls, and cross-country skiing.
The hotel in it's self was fine. The location of the hotel seemed a little strange at first but over all worked very well. The hotel is part of the Big Sky resort and they are what I had issues with, I would never stay with anything associated with Big Sky Resorts again.
The lift passes to go up the Mountain were complementary, which saved us $130. The hotel was lovely and the room was exceptional. The breakfast was the best inclusive meal we've ever had as a breakfast.
I was unable to stay and i tried to et a refund 2 weeks before the reservation and was told nothing could be done. I got a hold of Big Sky Resort and they said i had to get with Booking....nothing yet
Beautiful, clean and well located hotel. Breakfast was great. Wonderful lobby, restaurants, bars. Staff excellent. I felt like I was the first guest, like it was a brand new hotel. I’ll be back.
Luxury resort for ski-in, ski-out. Everything you need with a spacious room and beautiful views of the mountains. All of the amenities you would expect and totally enjoy.
