The Ocean View Suite was very, very pretty, it was super clean, we had lots of room and there was everything what you need including a small kitchen with a fridge inside the room but also a bigger kitchen for everyone. We had a very nice stay here and would definitely come back. Also the bathroom and the bed and everything else had a very high standard and in total this was the best stay we had in Hawaii. A grand ivory and wooden outdoor canopy covers the outdoor hot tub. Hiking trails are featured nearby. Right next to Volcano Park. Lovely location, lovely rooms. Except for the frogs, it was quiet and peaceful. Food was good. We really liked this hotel.

The waterfall and the pool are amazing, with a nice round walking path. The food was delicious, with fresh pineapple for a breakfast.

A lovely traditional Hawaiian house in the hills above Kona. Inside was spacious and very comfortable. It had all the facilities we needed inside, including fridge, microwave and mini oven. We also had access to a shared kitchen with more facilities like a cooker. The hoss were wonderful and made us feel very welcome. Every morning there was a fresh pot of coffee ready to start the day. The property takes about 7 minutes to Walmart, 10 minutes to Kona and has numerous beaches within 30 minutes that were stunning. The property had good parking that linked to a main transit route. We would stay here again no problem.

Watch for lava at the ocean sightings an hours’ drive away at Kupapau Point. The friendly welcome our host was very nice and available , the location and environment of the house like a hostel / hotel
