Hotels near Messe/Deutz Station, Cologne

The room was incredibly spacious, the shower was excellent, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the breakfast was outstanding, with an extensive variety of options. Everything was perfect!

My family came to Cologne for the cathedral and the Christmas Market. This hotel was absolutely perfect. 5-10 min walk to everything. The staff was very nice, hotel was clean. You get a physical room key to get into the building as well, which was also very nice. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Location & beautiful boutique style property

Breakfast is perfect with a lot of choices. Short distance to walk to station or Dom.

Staff was friendly and helpful, place was comfortable, and that bar was hopping! Amazing food, amazing singing and glitter bombing old people birthday party. And the beds were so comfy and it feels so authentically German.

The hotel had an excellent location, right across from Cologne Messe/Deutz train station, and it was close to the magnificent Lanxess Arena, where we came to attend a concert. It was also very close to the city center of Cologne, and within about a 20-minute walk, you can reach the city center and the famous cathedral. The hotel was very clean, compact, and small, but perfectly adequate.

People are awsome, in the middle of Euro 2024 best prices. Not luxury of course, but for the price very nice stay.

So expat & handicap person friendly. Front desk was an amazing man. Beautiful inside & out. He even charged my phone for me. Such kindness.

This is a beautiful little gem. Walking distance to the bridges, and very close to public transportation. We also enjoyed the restaurants on this side of the river. The room and bathroom were really large and beautifully decorated. Staff was wonderful.

Great location - we went to a concert at Lanxess Arena which was a comfortable walk from the hotel. It was also a short walk to the Messe/Deutz Bahnhof. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We also enjoyed breakfast. The only negative experience were the birds that began singing early in the morning, prompting us to get up and close the windows, over which the hotel has no control. :-)

Welcoming attitude of front desk

My room was clean and spacious. The hotel itself was lovely and looked, for lack of a better word, quite fancy. I loved it. The location was excellent. There's a tram stop right outside and a train station city and regional trains within a 10-15 minute walk. I was there for a concert at the Lanxess Arena, and that was also just a 10-15 min stroll away. I actually booked the hotel mainly for its location and reasonable price and was delighted with just how luxurious my stay was. I definitely think I got more than I paid for! Staff were always lovely, and room service arrived promptly. Now for a subject I am truly passionate about; hotel breakfast! A lot of people seem to not like them or prefer to seek out their own breakfasts when on holiday, but personally I think they are an integral part of the hotel experience and often a delight. And oh boy did this one deliver! The selection was excellent, tied for the largest I have encountered. The quality of the items was mostly very good too. It perhaps wasn't the highest quality hotel breakfast I have ever had, but never before have I encountered one which such high quality and such a large selection. Highlights for me include the eggs, which were done 4 ways every morning, all of which were good. The omelettes were standouts for me though. The sweet baked goods were also great and never had that staleness you sometimes see at buffets. The tea was good too, high quality silk sachets, as good as you can get from anything that isn't loose leaf. The one letdown were the fruit juices. They were that watered concentrate crap you expect, which was a shame, but it does seem to be an industry standard. All in all that is a tiny nitpick though. I definitely think this a top three hotel breakfast contender for me!
