Absolutely loved the property. There were peacocks and flamingoes roaming free in the vast lawn. The location was fantastic. Right opposite the Corniche. And walking distance from the Luxor temple and the souk.

The welcoming by the staff was refreshing after a long trip, I was friendly received and my room was immaculate and no ask was too small for the staff. They went out of their way to make it my home away from home! Pool attendance was super relaxed with staff catering for all your needs. I'll not think twice about staying again!

Everything, this hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is even nicer than the pictures online. It has a beautiful courtyard setting with many food options to choose from in addition to beautiful views of the pool and Nile river. It is very nicely decorated, very clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great with an extremely high selection of foods. Hotel is very centrally located…overall just wonderful…I highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

Hotel is located in a pretty good place on the west bank. Close to the ferry to cross to the east bank. And not far to historical places. Totally worth the money paid for the service that I go. And the staff was helpful all the time.

We liked everything about El Nakhil! Staying on the west bank, in an authentic quiet Egyptian neighborhood was just right for us. Locals are very friendy. The hotel is quiet, a 2 minute walk to a small store that had items we needed, and it's easy access ( 5 to 10 min drive) to east bank sites like Luxor Temple and Karnack.  The hotel is clean, the Egyptian staff are very friendly and speak English.  The breakfast is wonderful,  the rooms are big. I look forward to staying there next year! It's a perfect home away from home. The hotel is under new management,  new owner.  It's been upgraded over the past six months.  It's a gem in Luxor!

I visited 30 years ago, then the locals just dropped rubbish everywhere, this seems to have stopped. Leave plenty of time if you want to walk the Avenue of the Sphinx, some information boards helped you undertand what you were looking at, restoration work is ongoing, walk around the sides first and enter from the back, in a courtyard, you can see where the Romans plastered over the wall art and put there own.

Interesting but quite difficult to understand because of a lack of knowledge of Egyptyan history. Even if you have a guide it is difficult to remember what it is you have seen. There is very little effort in trying to make it an educational experience which you can remember.

Luxor temple is a must visit.

Luxor temple is a must visit. It's the biggest one and is absolutely fascinating. Even though we started quite early in the morning, there were already groups, however we still managed to get some nice photos without the crowds. I'd recommend to visit with a tour guide to understand what are you looking at.

The Egyptian people are charming and kind but be warned they will take advantage of you regarding your money and tend to be aggressive in Luxor. As a solo traveler do not go to Luxor Temple alone at night. In order to walk the avenue you must pay an entrance fee to Luxor and Karnak. I wanted to walk from Luxor Temple to Karnak Temple by the Avenue of the Sphinx but there was an event happening at Luxor Temple and hours where shortened.

The only apartment available for rent which is directly on the Nile Corniche. Amazing sunsets and views of the Valley of the Kings and Queens. Hot air balloons viewing in the mornings. Has an elevator and is located in the touristy area. Luxor temple is a ten minute walk.

Upon arrival we knew we would have an amazing time! The staff was welcoming and so accommodating. Staff made our stay the most enjoyable. The hotel is in walking distance from Luxor Temple which was an amazing sight. The restaurants are amazing high quality food at in my opinion low cost. The morning buffet is worth the cost and book an sunset boat ride you wont regret it.

The property is located at an exceptional location with a wonderful view of the Nile river and the East Bank. You can see the Luxor Temple from the hotel and the view is magnificent. Adam, who is at the reception, made our stay exceptionally smooth and comfortable. He was at service 24/7. Would totally recommend.

This hotel is a great value for the price. The location is perfect, close to Luxor Temple and shops. The staff were very helpful, Youssef helped me book a balloon tour and the manager gave me a discount to extend my stay. The room was clean, though the hot water in the shower takes a few minutes to warm up. My only suggestion is to provide guests with more information upfront. A simple info card with the Wi-Fi password, breakfast details, and pool fees would be really helpful. Overall, a good stay for solo travelers on a budget!

Convenient location - near the river promenade and the Luxor Temple. There is a nice restaurant called Kabagi nearby, also can walk to a good-sized supermarket within 15 mins. Clean and spacious apartment. Very friendly and helpful landlady. Overall great value for money.

The staff was super friendly, I specifically had a really great experience with Mohamed - he was incredibly helpful, kind, enjoyable to chat with which was very much appreciated (especially as this was my first stop in Egypt). The room was clean, comfortable, and definitely met my expectations. The hotel's location is perfect, just a few mins away from Luxor Temple and a walk from the museums. The rooftop restaurant is very convenient and has an amazing view.

It is near to everything. Walking distance to Luxor temple and souq. Few minutes away to Karnak temple via taxi. The hostel is very safe inside. It was simple and affordable. I wished there has been more choices for the breakfast. The staff were super friendly and helpful specially Omar. What I like most in this hostel is it is very clean and they will insist to clean your room, they mop the floors in the hallway and reception everyday, though it needs upgrade on structural aspect but given its a 2 star hotel it is understandable.

The hotel was very nice for our price; it had a nice pool, nice rooms, and a great location. It was within walking distance of the Luxor temple; they had a little shopping center with an ATM where we could exchange dollars for Egyptian pounds. The restaurant served Egyptian food, and you have to try the dessert "Kunafa." It was AMAZING! most of you stay here.
