For reason's unbeknownst, as I a walked in they informed me I was VIP of the Day. I was upgraded to a corner room with a delightful view to Plaza España and treated to breakfast the next morning. That will make any camper happy.

Super location. The tall building was visible from a great distance. The rooftop observation deck had a wonderful view of the city. Steps from the royal palace and adjoining a metro station. We took the subway from the airport. The staff were super super nice.
