The lady host was the most welcoming and nice a host can be. Nothing was too much trouble, she was very energetic and boasting lots of joie du vivre. The lodging has more of a cabane feeling than a hotel but i guess it goes with the location which is normally a sky resort. Room, bed are comfortable. Breakfast is very french, very good, do not miss it! I would definitely return and reccomend this hotel.

This is a vintage 1806 farmhouse in a scenic high mountain valley. It's very quaint and rustic in some ways but has modern amenities. I didn't realize when booking that it is rather remote--several km past Laruns through a narrow gorge and then up the side of a mountain. It could be a bit treacherous in snow or ice. The two bedrooms were comfortable although additional pillows would be nice. We brought our own linens and towels. Comforters were provided. The kitchen was well supplied with pots and implements. Bring your own spices. There is an Intermarché in Laruns. The house is well heated. There is also a wood stove in the fireplace. The bathroom and shower are nice. The house has wifi.
