Tiny room in what looks like a converted attic. Situated directly over the extractor ducts for the hotel kitchen, so the room was noisy and, if the window was open, smelled of frying. We found a fan and closed the window! Carpets in the main bar and restaurant were slightly grubby and sticky. Staff were lovely and very helpful, but the food at dinner was disappointing. My salad looked as if it had been been sitting around for quite a while. Very unappetising. Breakfast was much better, freshly cooked and tasty. The location is perfect for the ferry, which is why we booked, but I think we'll try somewhere else next time.

The place was much larger than you would think looking from the outside. Atmosphere was very good. The location was superb being close to the castle and shops/bars.

Celtic Royal Hotel & Spa features a leisure club and free Wi-Fi. The hotel is located in Caernarfon center, just a 10-minute walk from Caernarfon Harbor.

Everything about the Royal Celtic is relaxing. This hotel has old world charm and service is one of their top priorities. Service was always delivered with a smile. This was our second time to the property so we knew what to expect and it didn't disappoint. We knew from our previous visit that making a dinner reservation was very important and I have to admit that the dinner quality was above our expectations and at a very reasonable price.
