We had a great stay at the Grand Hotel. Gorgeous hôtel, lovely staff and great facilities.

The Lansdowne is unbelievable value for money! It’s a fabulous find. All the staff I came across were delightful. My single room on the second floor with a great view of the sea was more than I expected - an extra sitting area, comfortable bed, good quality, appealing furnishings, bathroom not recently renovated but perfectly clean with everything you need including a comfortable bath and fluffy white towels. The multiple lounge areas and bar are inviting, a lovely spot to relax with a drink or a chat or quiet read. The restaurant 1920 was also a great experience. Good food, nice setting, friendly good service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We booked very late. The price was very reasonable so we didn’t really know what to expect. We were delighted. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a very good size. Our dog was made to feel very welcome and had treats etc left in the room for him. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

The staff were very kind, the receptionist very kind and we arrived half an hour earlier than check-in time( 3pm) . He look for us and available room and because of the lift was broken one of member help us carry our baggage up. Very kind people. The room was clean and tidy. We had a very nice stay and enjoyed the seaside. We recommend and will definitely return. Thank you

Meals were excellent but I think maybe the drinks could have been served after we sat down. My tea was fine as I take little milk but others having coffee were disappointed. Is hot water put in the teapot and jugs and swirled round just before putting in tea and coffee. This makes a difference. Every meal was excellent, hot and beautifully presented, and varied.

Thé employees are friendly and helpful. I will very relax and safe and recover at this place. The girl work there help me to upgrade the room with sea view. I can hear the sea sounds before sleep. The hotel has a history and a bit old. But it accompanied my mood very well and help me recover energy.

We loved everything about our stay at the Chatsworth Hotel. It was our home away from home.
