Location was super, the room very clean and bathroom fab.

We liked the finish in the rooms.

The hotel is spotless and in a great location never had a bad stay.

The room was fantastic, we got the suite & it was far better than I thought it would be, very spacious, large comfy bed, TV, bath & shower, plus tea & coffee. Breakfast was nice. Beers were reasonably priced too. I would stay here again & recommend it!

The room was very well appointed, with a comfy bed, big pillows & a a very warm duvet, however not overly spacious; there was enough room to be very comfortable. There is off-street private carparking (2 decks). The hotel is well located to the rest of the town (opp. a large park), with many restaurants in the close proximity, as well as a convenience store.

Very good place for restaurants, bars and cafes

From the minitue we walked in the door the whole place was so relaxing and friendly.

Great breakfast very nice rooms

The property was perfectly located a very short walk to the centre of Harrogate. Parking was available just a few hundred yards away. The house was spotless as was the room which had everything needed for an overnight stay. Fairly priced accommodation and very responsive owners.

The inn and pub are beautiful, it feels luxurious while also feeling cosy. The breakfast was delicious.

The set up is very well thought through, with a fridge and a kitchenette. The decor was fun, and the room was very clean it was a lovely experience. I expected the room to be very small, but it was actually of a decent size.

Over for family wedding my flight got delayed on first night very accomodating waiting up for me first night. Staff very friendly

Characterful property with lovely grounds, social areas and facilities

We had such an amazing stay at The General Tarleton. The whole place strikes that perfect balance between a cosy Yorkshire pub and somewhere really high quality. The rooms were beautifully done, comfortable and stylish and and the attention to detail throughout was excellent. Food was a real highlight as was the outdoor terrace. Dinner in the restaurant was genuinely one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time, absolutely loved the monkfish. Breakfast the next morning was equally brilliant, amazing full English and mushrooms and ricotta on toast. What really made the stay though was the atmosphere and the team. Everyone was warm, relaxed and welcoming, already looking forward to staying again.
