Loved the location after climbing Slieve League... Amazing food for dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was included in the room. It was nice to not have to drive anywhere after a long day. We would have liked to listen to the live music but we were exhaused.

Location to the Slieve League Cliffs. I was also quite impressed with the sound proof windows. Listening to the sheep all around us was nice, and when it was time for quite, the closed windows made the room quite quiet!

The location was great for going to see Slieve League. The owners were friendly and gave us ideas on what to see in the area. They had a good variety of foods for breakfast.

We arrived at the cliffs shortly before 5 and we were able to stay until after 7 because I knew the hotel was so close. We did an amazing hike at the cliffs and then drove 4 minutes and we were at the bed & breakfast. This place is so close to the Slieve League Cliffs and a beautiful facility. It is very welcoming and impeccably clean, the hostess is incredibly friendly and helpful. She even wrote a list of places we should consider traveling to for the next day. The beach we went to on her recommendation was remarkable.

The rooms are adjacent to the pub and are very modern. The pub itself is very quaint, like you would expect from a historic Irish pub. The breakfast was awesome! It is a great location for visiting Slieve League and Donegal.

What an amazing place to stay! A quaint, lovely B&B so close to the Slieve League Cliffs! We only stayed one night, but the hosts were so friendly and even gave us tips on other things to see as we continued our drive over to Northern Ireland. We would.stay here again if we ever make it back!

Phenomenal pub near the Slieve Leagues, easily one of my favorites during my three weeks in Ireland. Great live music and atmosphere in the evening with very friendly staff and other customers. My partner and I used the Rusty Mackerel as our base for hikes to Slieve League. Super easy to walk from the pub/room to the visitor center and take the shuttle from there to the starting point of various hikes. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Location, restaurant, delicious dinner and breakfast, adorable and historic pub, fantastic live music, colorful and friendly locals, and convenience to the Wild Atlantic Way and hiking at beautiful Slieve League. Since the dinner, pub, friendly locals and wonderful live music will combine to make you want to stay and drink a bit more than you might otherwise, the convenience of walking out back to your hotel room at the end of the night cannot be beat.

The hotel was right in the area we wanted to visit-- Slieve League Cliffs both for hiking and taking a boat tour at the foot of the cliffs. The traditional music was wonderful. Any visitor should check for when traditional music is scheduled. We were fortunate that the Sunday we were there, traditional music was scheduled. GREAT PERFORMANCE! WONDERFUL PUB! Enjoyed the Rusty Mackerel!
