Hotels near Baradello Castle, Como

20 minutes flat walk to the Lake. 10 minutes to town. Affordable. Great breakfast - our favourite! Staff really friendly. AC. Comfortable! Great showers. Lovely building. Plenty of parking!

Perfect place and great service!

Third-time around, we are just as impressed with the B&B Hotel Baradello as we were on our first visit in July 2025: well-appointed rooms, free wifi, friendly and efficient service, just 10 mins from the centre of Como by bus, at half the price of accommodations downtown. Probably not the first choice for the first-time visitor to Como, since the location is somewhat unlovely and, I gather, parking is an issue, the hotel itself -- a recently converted two-storey office building -- is a convenient and well-priced stand-by for the budget traveller, especially those of us who hate road-noise! Although we did not indulge, we were told that the breakfast is sensational. Facilities include a shop selling a wide array of the kind of article one forgets to pack, or has mislaid along the way, as well as ready-meals. Pop your lasagne in the micro-wave, and eat at one of the tables in the lounge area. Stepping outside, there is a bar next door, and a couple of eateries across the street, while a five-minute walk takes you to a huge supermarket, with its own bar. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Como and a B&B Hotel: maybe to one of the company's other two establishments there, one close by Baradello, or the other downtown by the train station.

Charming place, I would be back in no time! I felt very well, everything was up to expectations! It was a 6 night stay, no disappointment. In the last evening I found out about the railway strike, the help of the receptionist LORENZO was of maximum efficiency and involvement, I was able to continue my journey in optimal conditions and then the flight home. A packed breakfast was prepared for me and I left for Rome early. I highlight the exceptional professionalism of the entire staff, I had all my wishes fulfilled, I was surrounded with care and attention the entire stay!

Everything was great. Close to station. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast. All you should need is possible to get in the lobby. Coffe, tea, juice, food, things like toothbrush, etc. The crew was very helpful.
