The place had a panoramic view of the snowy mountains and also a great place for families with small children who just wanted to play in the snow. I loved the outdoor onsen pool, and the communal bath was very clean. The location was convenient. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet with a variety of dishes to choose from. I would definitely want to stay at this hotel again.

When it is bad weather, you have everything you need. They rotate food items at meals so you don’t get bored too. Lots of activities for kids it seemed. Also have a ski locker during your stay and in my case the booking came with a lift ticket—something booking.com didn’t say. It’s a ski only resort so snowboarders be aware you maybe paying for a lift ticket you won’t be able to use unless you try skiing!

Love the interior, minimalistic and very clean. They have a mini convenience store on site that works on an honest basis. Location is also pretty good, just near the ski lift, and few minutes walk to a public onsen that opens until 23:00! They offer free shuttle pickup and drop-off when you check-in and check-out. Staffs are very helpful!

Facilities: We liked that our rooms had aircon and our own bathroom. The breakfast spread was also ok. Staff: We were very thankful to the owner’s son (we assume) for being very helpful to us with figuring out some tickets that we needed to book online. The owner’s wife also helped us book one taxi for our group as we were leaving

    We absolutely loved everything about this place! It was our first time experiencing snow, and we had an amazing time. The location is perfect—so close to Echigo-Yuzawa Station, making it easy to access Gala Yuzawa Resort, where we enjoyed playing in the snow. A special thanks to Mr. Shinichi-san for his incredible hospitality. He went above and beyond to accommodate us and was so kind and generous, even giving us a ride to the station. We truly appreciate everything and can’t wait to visit again!

    Despite being a hotel, the rooms come with traditional tatami and futon options. The onsen facilities are surprisingly good and spacious, offering both indoor and outdoor onsens. The hotel is also kids-friendly and located just few minutes away from Echigo-Yuzawa station. Do note that there is quite a steep slope up to the hotel (if you are carrying heavy luggage).

    Good space for a family of four. The hotel is located just beside Iwappara Skii Resort. There is a shuttle from/to Echigo-Yuzawa station. Staff are friendly. Family Mart is just downstairs.

    The location is great. just 5 mins walk from Echigo-Yuzawa station. The room was fullly equipped eg. washing machine, bathtub, microwave, fridge, kitchen ware. The Nespresso machine make the simple nice coffee for us in the morning. Bed sheets, towel were new and clean.
